Man, the MK was BUSY today

45 minute waits everywhere. we were hoping the superbowl would keep people home. the new scanners at the gates are really backing up lines. it was nice, 75 degrees, but just busier than what we expected. we left for home anout 4:00 to watch the game, and so did everyone else fom the Tampa area. not what you expect this time of year.

I would have thought it wouldn't have been that busy. Maybe everyone had the same idea.

What scanners?? I was there last May and they only had people searching bags? Are the scanners new? Are they like metal detectors?

You have to scan your fingers now with the new tickets. Before it was only for AP and CM tickets.

They are not metal detectors.

Yeah, what new scanners? I'm going to be there next weekend and need to know what to expect, hehe.

Oh, ok. Well I'm a passholder, so I guess it's going to be the same. I thought they added more turnstyles to help alleviate the problem of everyone having to scan.

Thanks for the info and the pictures. I thought maybe they had added metal detectors. I was hoping not, since that would take forever to get through the gate!
