Man of larger size in first class

Hi I was wondering if anyone who is of larger size has had any problems fitting in the seats in first class? Thanks

I have only flown first class once (on my boss's dime) but I recall the seats being much roomier than coach. There is also more space between the seats.

I get upgraded by Delta a lot and I have seen some VERY VERY large folks in the First Class Seat. So I think you would be OK.

All but the largest people will fit in a first class seat. If you will fit in an "Executive Style" office chair you will fit. I have seen some people on flights who would not have fit in a FC seat though, they geneally buy two coach tickets.

As an FYI, there are no movable armrests in FC, so you can't book thinking you'll have a little extra room that way.

If you go to your airlines web page there is usually a link to the airplane you would be flying on and it tells you the sizes of the seats in both FC and Coach.

FYI: there is also a big difference in international business or first then domestic.

The width of FC seats differs depending on the type of plane. Find out what kind of plane you will be on, then go to
http://www.seatguru.com and look up the dimensions. You will probably be fine in FC, but knowing the dimensions might ease your mind.
