I don't want a man who spends more time prettying himself up than I do.

The one that gets to me is the way some younger guys tend to over-groom (in my estimation) their eyebrows. Don't get me wrong....If you have a unibrow, a little waxing or plucking would be welcome so that you eventually have TWO distinct eyebrows. But when I walk by the threading stations in the mall and see a row of teen and twenty-something males getting their eyebrows threaded into feminine arched smoothness ala Joey Lawrence, all I can think is, "No way I would ever date a man whose eyebrow upkeep budget is bigger than mine."

When I was that age, no self-respecting guy would have dreamed of sitting out in the open and having his eyebrows threaded.....not unless he wanted to remain a virgin forever.
I come from a family of women with quite nice eyebrows, thank you very much. Smooth, with natural arches, no need to pluck much...When we first met DD at 9 months in Russia, I sent a brief email back to my DSis describing DD's personality and what she looked like. (We had no idea before we flew over.) I mentioned her eyebrows of all things, because she had beautifully shaped ones that framed her eyes and were very dramatic. DSis understood completely. So I do appreciate a nicely groomed eyebrow.....just on a WOMAN. When I see a womanly eyebrow on a man's face, it's disconcerting to say the least. They can wax their chests, legs, whatever, but please.....Keep "man" eyebrows on your face.
