A man died on Tuesday after being found unresponsive in the unloading area of a ride at Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom, park officials said.
Jeffery Reed, 44, of Navarre, Fla., was discovered unresponsive after riding Expedition Everest at about 12:45 p.m., officials said.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation was administered and there were no reported signs of trauma on Reed, Disney officials said through a release.
Reed was transported to Celebration Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Orange County sheriff's investigators said that Reed appeared to be conscious about 50 seconds before the conclusion of the ride because his photograph was taken as the coaster progressed toward the unloading area.
The attraction was inspected after the incident and was operating properly, Disney officials said.
The ride has been closed while park officials reconfirm proper operation of the ride, the release said.
The state Bureau of Fair Rides Inspection was notified of the incident.
Reed was believed to be visiting the park with family members, according to an Orange County sheriff's report.

That's so sad! Maybe he had an undiagnosed heart problem like the other people who died on rides at WDW. It's a horrible time for a tragedy like this. Prayers go out to him family and friend!

That's sad.

But it's always proven that these people have like, other medical issues. So pretty much overall it's a shame.

Prayers :(

Thats horrible!!
Best wishes for him and his family :(

thats sad but most of the Ride Deaths are because of heart problems:sad1:
nothing much love and wishes to his family:hug:

Thats pretty sad. :sad2:
But like everyone else is saying he probably had a condition that they weren't aware of.

It says Orange County, but EE is in Orlando?

I am sorry for his family, but if he was an older man...it HAS to be said...

What a cool way to die!!! If I were ever to die dramatically how cool would it be to be on a WDW ride??? I mean seriously...that is neat.

:sad1:
How horrible.

I hate hearing about stuff like this. :(
And near Christmas too...

My prayers are with the family at this time and especially at Christmas! We were going to ride it tomorrow, but now are not going to. Very sad for such a tragic thing to happen!
