Mama Melrose's at MGM

Hi - I am interested in your opinion of Mama Melrose's restaurant in MGM. My DH and I are thinking about giving it a try. Your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My son and I ate there for the Fantasmic Package, the food was delicious and the service was great! We really enjoyed it, my mother and I are having dinner there when we go in December.

We have eaten at MM once on each of our last 8 trips. Its one of our favorite WDW restaurants.

We went for the first time with the FAntasmic package and went back the next day because we loved it so much. Each time we are at MGM now---we go. It is one of our favorite restaurants for dinner or for lunch (get out of the sun, off your feet and have a nice lunch). It is far from the entrance from the park--down near the muppet movie---but i feel it is worth the hike. ENJOY!

We love Mama Melrose for lunch. You feel totally removed from a theme park for an hour or so. Great flatbreads and calamari.

Ask for Dori or Kevin.....great servers both.

We love MM too. Soo good, nice break from the crowds too. JMO but we loved it much more than Tony's Town Square at MK.

We love MM. The food was verry good (don't ask what we had LOL except DD and DNi had the kids pizzas).

Sorry to say, but this was one of the worst meals we had on our trip this September. We were thinking we wouldn't return, but maybe we just hit it on a bad night. Went for dinner prior to Fantasmic (not with the package), and the entrees were below average in our opinion. My DDs ordered the penne a la vodka, which they usually love, but MM's came with a ton of grizzly pancetta. Maybe we just ordered wrong, but where I come from this is a pretty basic dish!

We love it at MM and have always had great food and great service. We try to go on every trip. Give it a try!
