Mama Melrose with Fantasmic Dining Package

So my 180 days is coming up next week and I'm pretty much ready to go with my ADR plans. One of the things we wanted was MM with the Fantasmic dining plan, preferrably for a dinner time (like 5:00), not lunch. Our trip is November and in pulling up random dates close to my arrival time, I see the latest selectable reservation for the package is 3:00. I've seen other people mention this here as well. Fantasmic is currently scheduled for 8:00 in November, so 3:00 seems early for the last reservation.

By comparison, I looked at tomorrow to see what times I could select. Fantasmic is 9:00 in May and you can select the package up until 6:00 (obviously I'm not saying it's available, just that it appears on the drop down menu).

So what gives? Will the times adjust as it gets closer to November? Has anyone eaten there with the package, maybe last year, that had a 5:00 reservation or does it just never happen?

I've never seen a MM Fantasmic for around actual dinner times. The latest I've seen it is for 3ish

When I booked Mama Melrose with the Fastasmic Package I call and asked for dinner but the girl told me they do not do the package for dinner, lunch only so a 14:30 ADR it was.

Never seen a dining package for "dinner". I'm sure the idea behind the dining packages are to bring people into the restaurant during lunch hours when many are probably choosing to go the snack or quick service route to maximize park hours.

We've done MM dining package at lunch only and that was at normal lunch time. The latest I've ever been able to get the dining package at Brown Derby was 4:30.

A couple of years ago we booked it at dinner and it was a mess - they had it scheduled too close to Fantasmic. Luckily there was a second Fantasmic and they roped off a dinner area for it that night because all the dinner people couldn’t make first show. I’m sure they learned their lesson and don’t schedule dinners with the package.

We did a FP earlier this week and found it worked really well. No stressing about arriving early and queuing up like cattle.

We have a Fantasmic dining package at MM in a couple of weeks. Our ADR is at 4:15 for the 9:00 show. I figure that by the time we are seared and actually have food in front of us it will be closer to 5:00, so almost dinner time.
