We are planning to do a Fantasmic Dining Package and can't decide on either Mama Melrose or Hollywood and Vine for lunch. We've never eaten at MM and have only done breakfast at H&V. Can anyone give us their opinion? Thank you!

We have done Mama Melrose four times now and had a good meal and good service each and every time. We've done H&V twice...we always try to give each restaurant two tries in case of an off day. Let's just say you could not pay us to go back to H&V again. I would pick Mama Melrose.

I enjoy H&V much more than M&M. H&V has the same food as Prime Time, which we've enjoyed many times. The one time we tried M&M we were underwhelmed by the food and the service.

Based on what I read on here, I'd bet the majority would pick MM. I haven't eaten at either place, but booked the Fantasmic Package with MM because of this site. And when I called to book I asked the CM which she'd pick and she said she preferred MM! Good luck!

It's not really lunch, it's supper. They start seating at 3:30 for the Fantasmic Dining package. But everyone with the package eats in about the first two hours.

The real diffence is if you want buffet or not. I likes the selection at H&V myself. I just think some people are less daring and end up thinking it's nothing special.
