Mama Melrose or H & V?

I have 2 reservations - one at Mama Melrose (3:30pm) with the Fantasmic package and the other at Hollywood & Vine (5:45pm) without. I originally wanted the H&V because I have very picky kids and I thought we'd have a better shot finding foods they like at a buffet. However I really don't want to stand in line for 90 minutes to see F! What would you do?

Mama Melrose for certain. I didn't hate H&V like some people seem to.. but it was one of our least favorites.

I'd definitely say MM!!! We are one of those families who hate H&V!!

We like H&V better than Mama Melrose. But I'd do the Fantasmic package since reports are that waits for that are pretty long since the shows got cut back.

H&V was decent buffet stuff. Mama Melrose is kind of like Olive Garden with a limited menu and no free soup or salad. Not really bad but not really good either.

Sounds like 6 of one, half a dozen of the other. I think I'll stick with MM. It's early enough that we'll need CS and/or snacks for the kids before F! whether they like the food or not. Thanks for the feedback.

I would rather stand in line 1900 minutes than eat at H&V ever again. We always give each place two tries--should have stopped after one in H&V's case. Filthy restaurant, non-existent service, mediocre, lukewarm food (when there was food). Never again.

Go with Mama Melrose. Just know that you no longer get the separate entrance into Fantasmic...you go in the same entrance as everyone else.
