Mama Melrose or Alfredo's

I have reservations at Alfredos but am worried about some
recent reviews. Which one is better?

I think you will hear a variety of reviews regarding Alfredo's. DH and I love Alfredo's....we eat here every trip! I have never been to Mama Melrose's, so I can't share any experiences there. Good luck choosing! I vote for Alfredo's!!

I've had both with my fiancee. We prefer Mama Melrose's. We think Alfredo's is overpriced & their service is ok. I've been to MM's twice & loved it. I haven't been to A in a few years.

My family loves Italian food. We have eaten at Tony's Town Square, Mama Melrose, and Alfredos. We prefer Alfredo's hands down over the others. Of course I order the name sake. I like the atmosphere, the salads, the lasagne is really good. The desserts are fantastic. The service has been good over all. If you eat at a restaurant often enough, you are going to have the occassional bad service (we eat at Alfredo's every trip), but the food has always been fantastic.

Absolutely - no contest - not even close - Mama Melrose wins hands down!

We would absolutely vote for Mama Melrose too. We go every trip and usually for a quiet lunch.

We had lunch at Alfredo's for the first time a few weeks ago. We had oustanding service and delicious food!

Our server was from Torino. She was very personable and fast on her feet!

I had the Trittico di Pasta which is sample of their most popular pastas; Lasanga, Ziti in tomato sauce and Pasta Dumplings in what tasted like a garlic cream sauce.

It was just the right amount of food for a lunch entree.

We'll definitely be going back on our next trip!
