Mama Melrose, Lady & Tramp theming ?

as per Disney's site this restaurant is themed about Lady & Tramp

can anyone confirm ?
is it just the decor (frames), or do they have a statue like Tony's ?

paw prints in front of the restaurant and a window with Lady and the Tramp eating, like in the movie, towards the back.

The restaurant is themed from Lady and the Tramp because the restaurant represents Tony's where the famous spaghetti sharing scene was set.

Mamma Melrose is completely different than Tonys tho. I mean I havent been, I will in a few wks but I didnt think MM had the Lady and Tramp theme thats at Tonys in the MK

That's right...Lady & the Tramp theme is at Tony's Town Square NOT at Mama Melrose.

That's strange. Yeah the link on the official Disney site says lunch and dinner "...are served in a setting inspired by scenes from Disney's classic animated film Lady and the Tramp". We ate here and did the Fantasmic! dinner package, but I don't remember any Lady and the Tramp theme. We were actually thinking of eating for the first time at Tony's this Dec right before the MVMCP, so I too would like to know what's up with that?

While the look of the restaurant may have been "inspired" by the movie, it is definitely NOT themed to L&T. And, IMHO, the food at MM is far superior to Tony's

So, I was just looking on the Disney site at Tony's, and on the left hand side in a little box called "Fun Facts" it says that BOTH Tony's and MM are inspired by Lady and the Tramp. Here's the link:

I don't recall seeing any Lady and the Tramp theme at MM though.

Glad to hear it, I had a hard time deciding between Tony and MM and MM won out since I needed somewhere to eat in HS.

MM is a must do every time we're in DHS. We won't be eating there for our short trip later this month as we're celebrating DH's birthday and he wanted to try the Brown Derby. MM is on our lists for our Oct and Nov/Dec trips

1) Both Tony's and Mama Melrose are "inspired by" Lady and the Tramp.
2) It didn't say "copied from".
3) So, both have the restorante look.
