Mama Melrose Fantastmic Package

I just booked my ADRs today and got the Mama Melrose Fantasmic Dinner Package that we wanted. We usually do Hollywood & Vine FDP, but we wanted to try something different on this trip.

The CM told me that it is $35.14 pp, which includes tax, not gratuity. Does anyone know what this includes? The CM could not tell me! I tried to research beforehand, but a couple of times when I called, the CM didn't know, and once I was told that you have a choice of 3 entrees, and it includes salad and bread, but didn't know if it included appetizer and/or dessert.

I've done some searches here, and found posts that say that you can order off the menu for the MM FDP. I am really hoping that this is the case, as I have DDs that would prefer to order the plain spaghetti off the kids menu, and I really don't want to pay $35 for that! With appetizer, a drink and dessert, I know that DD and I will spend more than the $35 pp.

My question is - Does anyone know for sure if the menu is preset for MM FDP, or can you order off of the regular menu at regular menu price? We didn't pay more for the H&V dinner buffet, just because we had the FDP. Just curious. Thanks!

We did the Mama Melrose Fantasmic package last December. Each person got an appetizer, entree and dessert. You could select what you wanted from the regular menu.

Thanks! Do you remember if beverages - soft drinks, milk, tea...were included? They can really hit you in the pocketbook w/drinks in restaurants. That's a lot of food! Wish we could save our leftovers take them w/us for later so it won't go to waste. Maybe we could get dessert to go and save it for later that evening? Need to check that out! Still don't like the idea of paying $35 for 2 kid portions of spaghetti, even w/appetizer and dessert. Might end up doing 50's or Sci-Fi w/out FDP. Decisions, decisions....

yes, it includes drinks!

We also tried MM after going to the H&V twice -

we loved the atmosphere of MM, liked the food (some was great, some was more like Olive Garden - which we like!) but I have to say the service was slow and borderline RUDE! The table to our right was just a dad and dd - they were on dessert when we sat down - he had the hardest time getting his check! The table on our left was a table of 12 - that server was very attentive to their needs - I joked to dh that I would sit there with my tea to get a refill -

and when we left the lobby was fill with people waiting - and the restaurant had plenty of empty tables!

so pack your patience - I didnt find it to be too much food (and with the heat of Oct, wouldnt want to take anything to go!)

Thanks, Sandy! In situations like you mentioned, I might just get up and fill my own glass, if I saw the drink station, and would get up out of my seat and hunt our waitperson down to get our check! I am not rude about it, but am not shy about it! We have things to do at WDW, and must be getting on our way! I am sometimes a source of my kids in situations like this, but am finding that w/age, it is getting easier and easier.

We are looking forward to MM!!

We actually ended up upgrading from free QSDP to DDP, and now MM is one of our TS credits!
