My friend and I reserved the fantasmic dinner pkg. at Mama Melrose's and I'm wondering if it's a fixed price? We were lucky enough to get Le Cellier the same day for lunch, so we're wondering if we can pay OOP for MM and order light (appetizers, desert, etc.) or if it's a fixed price no matter what we order. If the latter is the case then we'll cancel MM because 2 big meals in one day is too much (especially when one is Le Cellier ;))

TIA!

The Mama Melrose Fantasmic! dinner package is a fixed price, no matter what. I think it's $33

I believe it is a fixed price and you get an appetizer, entree, a non-alcoholic beverage and dessert. We usually get it with the DDP. This year will be the first time we will be getting it without DDP and I believe the price is 32.99/adult and 11.99/child + taxes and gratuities.

Thanks! I wasn't sure, because the only other time we did the dinner package was at H&V, so I knew the price there because of the buffet. I thought maybe MM was fixed but couldn't remember ;).

Thanks so much!

So are you ordering off of their regular menu or is there a special menu for the dinner show package? I'm confused....Happens easily:rotfl:

I think you order off the regular menu, but with the dinner package (DDP or OOP) you get an appetizer, if just using DDP with no dinner package it's entree and desert only. If I'm wrong someone please correct me!

I hope you're not too full to enjoy it! :goodvibes

I wanted a MM package but I could only get H&V.

Aurorafan is correct. With the dinner package you also get an appetizer even if you have the DDP which we did when we went in April. We enjoyed our meal there and our server (Emily) was wonderful.

Are you going when Fantasmic is only shown twice a week?

If you really want to see Fantamic, I wouldn't cancel your Fantasmic Pkg. I would think that Fantasmic is packed now that it has cut shows.

We were there in September and didn't see it the first DHS day as it was standing room only (we had two 4 yr olds). So we used our Fantasmic Pkg (H&V) the second DHS-I wanted to cancel if we didn't need it as I wanted to do 50's Primetime Cafe at lunch.

We were there last week and it was a fixed price that included appetizer, entree, desert, and drink per person including the seats. At the end of the meal they give you a vouchure to get in to the seats which are off to the side. It was great to not watse time waiting and guarding seats. We walked right up 15 minutes before the show. The food was pretty good and they had something for everyone. We were stuffed.

Yep, we're going in 2 weeks, and Fantasmic is only being shown that night while we're there. That is a good point and one which I'll keep in mind--thanks!

I have the dinner package in mid-March and it is being shown 3x that week (so far), so I am hoping, it will not be so crazy! ::yes::

I'm going solo, so, I will not have to guard seats or anything like that. :cheer2:
