Malted Milk Balls?

Do you guys have anything over there like our malted milk balls. I did a bad thing today and went to the grocery store hungry. All sorts of nasty things ended up in my cart. The absolute worst thing was a big bag of malted milk balls. They are positively evil.

Ours are called malteasers.

They are much much much better (or way more evil..depends on how you see it) than the malted milk balls in USA.

It's probably a good thing for my hips that "Maltesers" aren't marketed in the US

BTW there is a huge difference in malt balls over here. I can't stand the Whopper ones. Chocolate is too waxy. Brachs makes the best ones. You get those at one of those "pick & choose" candy displays at the store. Evil.

I hate Malteasers!
But they are my dog's favourite sweet!!!
He gets 5 or 6 every night after his last walk. He actually cries for them.
So we don't just give him them - oh no, we hide them in various places round the room (well not hide, just placed) and he goes to hunt "his treasure".

DS loves Whoppers, for that matter so does DH. I guess we will have to buy some while we are in London next week.

Stephanie, we leave in a week, I am so excited as this will be my first trip there where I actually get to leave the airport and the bus. DS and I spent 5 hours at Heathrow in June and we were so tempted to have a look, but we didn't. Ever since then all DS would talk about is what he saw from the plane when we were landing and I have to admit I have always wanted to go. So we cancelled our vacation in Greece and decided London was to be the place. I sure hope we have a marvelous time!
