Love Mallory's take on the safety folder....when Megan was little she loved JayJay the jet plane on PBS, so when we flew, we always flew on JayJay, and he had "rules" she had to follow....one trip another kid was fussing and she said" boy he doesn't know the JayJay rules" she was about 2 1/2 at the time!


Your villa looks great and love the welcome sign! looks like the pixie dust started early!

Arent the Villa's nice? Our nephews loved that tub - and I have to tell ya - one of them got their butt cheek stuck on one of the water jets!!!) but all was well!

11 years old!!! haha!! his Daddy shut the jets down and from what we heard, he popped right off!! It was at the very begging of our trip, so we were just hootin and hollerin so hard!!!!! We really had such a great trip - I cant believe its been almost a year!! Of course that also means Daniel has been cancer free for a year! Good times,,,, good times.....

It is fun to be out and about for a bit tonight! It really DOES make me smile...and now I am laughing, because I could see one of my boys doing that! and they are a LOT older than 11! Wendy, did you do a TR?? Do you have a link and have I missed it or have I read it and been too clueless to realize it was you?

What I love about you is how you are finding the magic in ALL that is happening and are so appreciative of each and every detail...I love the photos and I am so happy you posted more pics of the inside of the villas, I never get tired of those, they are so exciting to see! I love to see the different angles/perspectives! I can only imagine how exhausted you must have been and even though Disney was at the end of the journey, you must have been weary. Looking forward to more of the story and the close to one thousand photos (and I am certain that total doesn't include the Photopass...how exciting)!!!

I can't wait to see what other Pixie Dust is sprinkled on you!

And I wondered, do the airlines give you tickets for a future trip to make up for the hassle and delays??? Could another trip to Disney be in your future? Think October if that is true...around the middle of the month, that is when I am hoping and praying we FINALLY get to take Lisa's MAW trip...how I would LOVE to meet you in person! I feel we are Kindred spirits!

I have my fingers crossed for you that you will make it to Disney in October. You guys deserve a wonderful, magical, trip after all the wait!!! And after that maybe you all will make it to Disneyland and we could meet there!!!!!!

It looks like the magic is really beginning now! I'm so glad you posted photos from GKTW. I had no idea you got a villa -- I thought they were just typical hotel rooms. It's really awesome! I can't wait to read more.

I DO think they SHOULD have givien you tickets for all of your trouble, I thought that was standard (says the woman who rarely flies). Thank you, I have been really counting on October now since we had to switch from May...I have never been to Disneyland (Never farther than Minnesota actually)...When I was in first grade I learned of the San Andreas fault and have known since then if I travel to Cali it will fall into the ocean...I know, ridiculous...but have you READ our PTR??? If it is going to happen we seem to have it happen to us. I would risk it though if we could meet! Now I think my cold meds must be kicking in, I am writing delirious things. Loving the TR!!!

We finally made. Here we are on the airport monorail to go get our luggage. Our new family joke is How long does it take to fly from California to Orlando. And the punch line is 29 hours!! Yikes!!

I LOVE her face in this photo!!! She's so adorable and precious.

Yay for all the extra pixie dust so far on the trip. More, more, more!!! LOL.

Our life can be at times...you are probably to young to remember when there used to be a movie of the week, I used to joke our lives would be a movie of the month... I am SO ready for a trip!

I am patienlty waiting...posting pics is a LOT of work!!! Thank you for making me smile!

Well when I left you we had just arrived at Give Kids the World. I told you I had more magic to post. Well Richard, the volunteer who checked us in to GKTW and showed us around also got our Disney tickets for us so we could go to a theme park right away!! We thought we would have to wait until the next day, because we hadn't attend the orientation yet, but they seemed to understand our eagerness to get our vacation going after our travel issues from the previous day. More magic!! We felt really lucky!!

This was the 1st of many pictures we took on the porch at the start of our day!! As you can see we have our Animal Kingdom Outfits on!! Thanks to Jen (ClaireMolly) for the super cute outfit for Mallory and Shirts for the WHOLE FAMILY. More Magic... we got so many compliments and the question where did you get those shirts came up a bunch. We took the chance to share with people about all you wonderful Big Givers!!

Give Kids the World has lunch at Katie's Kitchen. We stopped there for some yummy chicken sandwiches before heading to the park.

Mallory was so excited here she is running to catch the tram.

Waiting in line for the Safari ride. More Magic... The Guest Assistance Card they give wish kids got us right to the front of the line. They let us go through the fast pass line.

The Safari Ride

This ostrich held us hostage. She stopped our tram on two occasions by standing in front of it. A little while later we might have learned why... we saw a nest with ostrich eggs!!! We all sat wondering how long the ostrich would make us wait...

After the Safari we got a great spot and waited for the parade. Mallory used this time to catch some ZZZZZZ's

As soon as the music started she was awake and super excited!!

Mallory wants to be a veterinarian at a zoo when she grows up so she was loving this park. Next we went to the animal care center where we learned a lot about how they take care of animals. At the front of the center where these awesome pictures...

Michael named his fanstsy football team the Hemet Ostriches , so we had to snap this picture.

Mallory love macaws!!

Michael and Jason rode the Everest roller coaster and LOVED it!!!

Last Mallory and Michael played at the Bone Yard. A dinosaur themed playground. Watching them play together was totally a magic moment!

More Magic... If you remember Mallory wished for

1. For a Rudolph Play-set (She got one at her send of party
2. To be a palentologist (she played that with Michael at the Bone Yard
3. Go to Walt Disney World -- Yeah!! All her wishes came true!!

Mallory with her 1st souvenir!! Shiny the Giraffe, who came with a leaf blanket!!

Thanks to The Laxtons, The Birch Family, and Mommy2mrb for the gift cards!! More Magic for Mallory as she got an awesome souvenir at each park!!!

UPDATE: I just learned The Birch Family and Mommy2mrb is the same family, so now I realized I goofed. We got 3 gift cards so now I need to know who the 3rd one was from so I can properly thank you again. Please help!!

FAVORITES OF THE DAY!!
Dad -- Safari Ride and Parade
Mom -- Watching Mallory and Michael play paleontologist, Safari Ride, and Parade... where we saw Mallory go from sleeping to dancing in the blink of an eye.
Michael -- Playing paleontologist with Mallory and Everest
Mallory -- Playing paleontologist and digging for bones with Michael
