Mall Cop...yea or nay

I am going to pass but my ds12 really wants to see it. We just got back from seeing Hotel for Dogs. My kids and I liked it (ages 6, 10, and 12). It was cute and the inventions were clever.

My DD12 and 2 of her friends had to build a Rube Goldberg project for one of their classes this year. They are going to see Hotel Dogs to see the inventions! :)

I am taking the girls rollerskating today to burn off some energy from being cooped up all weekend. I have never had so many volunteers to fold towels from the dryer! :laundy:

Please post a review of Mall Cop.

i didn't know it was filmed at the Burlington Mall! How fun!!

i'm sure i'll see it on cable in 2 to 3 years, haha.

DH and I saw it yesterday (his pick not mine!). I actually enjoyed it - DH loved it. Lots of laughs and no filthy language which seems to be so common these days.

I saw it with my son last night. It was corny and silly with a few pretty hysterical parts.

I think people have pretty good idea of what to expect from Paul Blart: Mall Cop- and that's exactly what they get. :thumbsup2

I was so excited to see the freaky brother from The Wedding Crashers in something else. I loved that character. :lmao:

He played Vek.

We'll be headed to see it - although we may wait for the Tuesday night discount! :thumbsup2

DH is fascinated with this movie and cannot wait!

It helps, too, that it's filmed at the Burlington Mall - he works in Burlington, walks over the mall when he needs something and is so excited to recognize it in the previews! :cheer2:

It's a good thing I love him so much - sometimes my DH is a total dork! :upsidedow

we're going today and taking the kids. There are so few movies that are good for kids as well as the parents.

can't wait to see the DVD! I know I'll laugh at Kevin James.
I met a lot of nice people at a Disney Meet a few years back held at the Rainforest cafe in the Burlington Mall.

just back. it was cute...some very funny parts, kids liked it, too. predictable, of course, but kevin james is very likeable. and it was fun seeing the mall, of course. does anybody know where the neighborhood scenes were filmed? I remember seeing that in the globe at one point but can't remember.

I don't like most dumb movies but this one caught my eye. For some reason, the ads make me laugh. I might just have to check it out - it would be fun to laugh over silliness for a while.

Our family went to see it last night and we all enjoyed it.:)

So far this weekend we have seen Hotel for Dogs and Mall Cop- out of the two of them I would have to say Mall Cop was the best by a long shot. I wanted to gouge my eyes out during hotel for dogs, that was one crappy movie! We are either seeing that bride movie ( I forget the name of it) tomorrow or Tuesday. I may put it off until Tuesday since that is free movie night at a local theater if you have the cable company tv/internet and phone.

Saw it tonight.....
:thumbsup2 Much better than I expected:rotfl:

Very cute, and good for young & old alike!:cool1:

Northshore is my mall too but I like Burlington b/c they have Sephora. The only reason I will see this movie is to see the mall. I noticed in the promo they go by Legal Seafood so I had an idea where they were. Sometimes they change the look of a place and it is hard to tell. Once they shot a movie in my old elementary school ...it was supposed to be a court house and I could not tell that it was the same place. Does the action take place at the Burlington Mall by name? I saw Bride Wars and was surprised to find out it was shot in Boston when all along it was supposed to be New York.

I'll watch it when it comes out on DVD. I like Kevin James.

West Roxbury.

I suspect that the neighborhoods around Burlington Mall looked a little to up-scale for a mall cop to afford to live in. :confused3

Our family saw it last night. I highly recommend it as a family movie. Nothing inannapropriate for the kids. It was refreshing for a change to have a movie we could watch with our 12 and 9 year old and not be bored or embarressed.

I would highly recommend it.

Lots of laughs and twists.

My 9 year old boy saw it yesterday. He wasn't impressed. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't that great.
