Makkaresh for lunch - entertainment times?

i checked Steve Soares' site for times this week & it says that the entertainment in this restaurant starts at 12:50 for lunch time. i just made a reservation for noon & am thinking of changing it to 12:30 if in fact that's usually the earliest show time.

has anyone been there for lunch? what time did the show (music/dancing) begin?

also i just looked at a photo of the interior & it had separate tables/chairs...when i made the reservation, i was told that it was communal tables of 12 & sitting on cushions on the floor - is that accurate?

Jenny you got a clunker of a CM on the phone!
As your photo shows, Marrakesh has standard seating at tables of 4-8. You will not be seated with another party.

The CM may have thinking of Teppanyaki in Japan. I have not eaten there but it does have communal tables. I'm not so sure about the cushions on the floor though.

interesting about the CM b/c i thought it was odd (sitting on cushions,etc) & he did admit that he never ate there but that's the information that he had.
i haven't had good luck w/ the CMs over the past 2 days over the phone - 1 time i was on hold listening to music for about 10 min & the issue was adding a room to the reservation! the whole transaction took about 30 min, she needed a manager to help her, etc....i almost gave up but she was pleasant.
