Making the trip extra magical

Looking for any insights on making a trip extra magical. We will be at the DLR March 28-31, staying at the GCH. We will be celebrating DH's 50th and his retiring form the fire deptartment after an honorable 20 year career.

He's very easy going. Just wanting any ideas with regard to making our time extra special; little or big.

That's a great idea! Will they allow me to bring in my own cake I wonder? Most restaurants do but unsuire about Disney restaurants inside the park. Cute idea!

Not sure about bringing one in, but the Disney bakery will make one, and then it just magically appears The # is 714-781-DINE. Here's a pic of the birthday cake we had for my mom. I think they do a nice job and it delicious.

Mouseshoppe.com will do gift baskets and in-room delivery for much less than what DLR charges. They can customize, too. We've found them to be very helpful. You can bring your own cake into a DLR hotel restaurant. A recent thread reported some problems bringing in a custom cake to BB. Would your husband enjoy a tour? Make sure he wears a Celebrating button that says what the special occasion is.

How about a romantic dinner at Napa Rose? It's in your hotel and it would be so special there!
