Adding the DP to our OKW DVC ressie for 4/2-4/7. I want to make the most of it! According to the plan, we're 3 adults, 1 child. One of our "adults" is a 10 year old girl addicted to chicken strips and french fries, but I digress...

Our 5 TS ADRs are for:
O'Hana--dh's fave
Chef Mickey's (dinner)--dds fave
Le Cellier--my fave
Mama Melrose--never been, will be at MGM that night
Concourse Steakhouse--never been, heard great things, we all love steak.

Now, my questions: the dining CM told me that we'd have to use 4 credits at each TS meal, but I don't think that's true. I think that at LeCellier, Concourse, and Mama Melrose's we could "get by" with 2 adult meals and 1 child's meal and share all that food. What do you think?

Also, what do we do for breakfast? There's no "food court" at OKW. I want the dining plan credits to cover ALL food--and I mean all food for our vacation. I don't want to spend $100 on snacks and groceries to take with us. I want our only oop expense to be Dole Whips. Is this possible?

All our TS are for between 5:30 and 6:30 pm. I'm thinking we could find counter service breakfast--where? sharing a couple of CS credits and then have an early lunch in a park, again sharing a couple of CS credits and do dinner.

So, my other question is--where can we do CS breakfast?

TIA. Carmen

You could check and see if the shop at OKW would have some of their items available on the DP now that we DVC'ers are included (fruit, soda, oj, etc)...or do you have a car? If so, you could pop down the street to POFQ and have a nice breakfast at the food court there. Or you could take the boat to POFQ or to SSR at the Artist's Palette. That would be my best suggestion. Otherwise, pack a box of granola bars and have an early CS lunch somewhere?

Good luck and enjoy!!!

I think that part of our problem is we don't know if they are going to change the way they group the meals. If they are going to seperate the kids meals or not. Either way you can sit at dinner and order nothing. the CM was wrong about that. They use your coupons based on what you order not by whos sitting at the table.

However, if they keep things the way they are. Your 2 Kids could split the adult meal. There is always mixed feelings about this but hey that's up to you.

Breakfast. there are very vew counter service breakfast places. for that you Will most likely need your resort food court. or snack and hold out for lunch.
