Yup, she kind of figured that she'd end up with that but after not passing the web interview the first time I know she's just glad to have gotten accepted at all!

haha, I was looking at pictures from our August '09 trip when we stayed at the WL and stopped at the Polynesian on the Magical Express. We always say how we get so jealous seeing people checking in there/getting off on the monorail/etc. You have no idea how much I want to stay there again.

I can't wait to hear cast member and cast member sister stories! Hehe.

Congrats to your sister! I did the CP the summer after I graduated college, at 22 years old. Best decision of my life. I'm 30 now and still look back on those days with such great memories. Can't wait to find out where she will be working - what are her top pics? attractions? food/bev? merch?

And yay - we are both going to Disney this month!

I am kicking myself for not doing the CP when I had the chance. And with the teaching job market the way it is right now, it's not like it would've hurt me at all.

She picked a bunch of roles on her application and ended up with QSFB.

congrats to sis again! Now the waiting game begins to see where she will be working at!!!!!! I wish I would have stayed at Poly when I had my CM discount but I did stay at WL, AKL, and Yacht Club a bunch of times so I can't complain since it always seemed that even though it was a discount it was still expensive! Just wait till they have 60% off rooms for CM plus DDP for $25.99!!!

Yes, DVC is so awesome. I can't imagine not having it now...we've gotten so spoiled. It's hard to believe we used to go every other year and that was it.

Glad you had fun on your December trip, even if it was cold. We had a trip like that a couple years ago. I swear it was colder there than it was at home. Yay, glad you liked AKL too! It is an amazing resort.

Yeah, even though we've stayed there a few times it's been a looong time and is still a dream resort for all of us. We just love it there. Fingers crossed we can somehow swing another Poly stay!

I was trying to get a better rate for our car rental when we get to Savannah.
I do have a confirmed rental.
But when I was playing around seeing if I could get a better deal, almost every rental agency in Savannah is declaring no rentals for my dates. I hope nothing big is going on while we are in Savannah. My gut is telling me that when I get to the counter-"National" is going to try and pull a "sorry-we don't have any vehicles." They did that to us out in Arizona. Thank goodness I printed out our ressie and had my confirmation number. Surprise-they had lots of vehicles. Makes you wonder sometimes if car rental agencies don't want to honor low ball rentals.

Hooray for getting your ME tags!!! I can't believe our trips are coming up so soon. And lucky you, getting to go back a couple days after you come home. You should just do what my dad did a few years ago when he came down with me and my one sister over our fall break. He ended up staying a few extra days until my other sister, mom, and grandma came down for teacher's convention-he got to play a lot of golf. And you're going to WWOHP too, right? Jealous!!

That's crazy with the rental cars. I'm glad we can just do the ME and not have to worry about rental cars anymore.

Happy Sunday everyone! Just under 3 weeks to go now. Or 20 days to be exact. It's coming up fast, but not as fast as my sister and parents' trip! They get to leave next Saturday (aka my birthday...) since it's Marquette's spring break.

As for our trip, Claire and I are getting antsy I think. We've been seeing some of the pictures from the Flower and Garden Festival and are SO excited to see it in person. I was just saying this morning how it's probably my second favorite time to visit. It just makes Epcot so festive and colorful. Can't wait!

We also found out that they extended the park hours a few of the days we're there. When Dad told me that I was really hoping they might've added morning EMH at the Magic Kingdom so we could get there at 7:00 am. I know some people might think I'm nuts but when we did that last April it was awesome. It was kind of exciting getting there when it was still dark, not to mention there was hardly anyone there. But no EMH, just parks opening a little earlier. Oh well. 8:00 is still good.

I've only got one more park left to share plans for and it's my favorite next to the Magic Kingdom. That's right, the Animal Kingdom!!

I don't know if she'll go for it, but I might try to convince my sister to do the EMH Wednesday morning. I am still so mad that DAK never has PM EMH when we go! Why?!

Because there aren't as many attractions at Animal Kingdom, there's only a couple absolute must-dos.

Expedition Everest...need I say more?

Kilamanjaro Safaris...I could seriously ride this all day. I just love seeing all the animals.

Dinosaur...it's fast, it's a blast, it's in the past. haha, we always joke about that slogan. The ride itself is kind of terrifying but there's no way I could skip it.

When Dad and I were there last year, we spent a lot of time exploring some of the animal trails. I think Claire said she wants to do that, so hopefully we can do the Maharajah Jungle Trek and/or Pangani Forest Exploration Trail. I also really want to see Flights of Wonder again. I've only seen it once and we actually missed the first few minutes of the show. Birds sort of freak me out but not enough to skip it. It's actually a really cool show! We'll also have to make sure to see Festival of the Lion King since we weren't able to do it in August. Oh, and maybe we can meet some of the characters at Camp Minnie Mickey while one of the FOTLK shows is going on. I'd also like to take the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch. I feel like I'm forgetting something...I know that Primeval Whirl is going to be closed so we won't be able to do that.

What are your Animal Kingdom favorites? Really I'm up for anything at that park. Did I mention how much I love it there?

My must do's at Animal Kingdom are Expedition Everest and Dinosaur.

I love Kilimanjaro Safari and It's Tough to be a Bug too, but I don't always get to them each time.

Did they get rid of evening EMH for Animal Kingdom? I thought I read something about it on the DIS, but I'm not sure.

Expedition Everest, Kilimanjaro Safari, and Dinosaur are my top 3, too. I never leave AK without doing those attractions or seeing It's A Bug's Life. Flights of Wonder has become a recent favorite of mine. I've seen it twice in a row now, it's really cool.

The Flower & Garden festival does look pretty awesome! Perhaps *someday* I'll make it down to see it!

AK doesn't have PM EMH anymore. At All. It was just announced Tuesday, I think. Instead they will have AM EMH 2x per week.

I just did my PM extra magic hours at AK update on my TR. It was a lot of fun being there after dark and we did EE back-to-back-to-back!

Our must do's are EE, FOTLK, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Kali River Rapids, Nemo and the Discovery Island Trails. If I get all those done I'm a happy camper and anything else is a bonus.

I love AK too! I think it's my favorite park.

They have done away with all evening EMH at AK now....sorry!

My favorites are def EE, KS, and the walking trails. I hate it when people say AK is 'just a zoo'! But I've decided not to debate it with them because the fewer people there, the more fun I have!

Sounds like you're hitting all of the biggies at AK. I just love all of the little details scattered throughout the park. I love the Tree of Life trails and the details on the Tree of Life. I also think this park has some unique merchandise that is fun to browse. FOTLK is one of, if not the best show in Disney World!
