Making shirts....

Does anyone know of a good supplier of plain colored tees? All the ones people use on these boards only whip within the states.

I do have a friend I can ship them to and then she will ship up, but I would like to aviod the long shipping times we leave in 42 days!

I used to embroider on plain T's and sell them on ebay. My first choice of shirt was Old Navy. They go on sale often and you can often get coupons so that's the best time to buy them. Michaels also sells plain T's but they aren't as fitted and the colours are fewer.

OK thanks! I have been looking at Old Navy, just all the toddler tees have pockets... May have to adjust my designs for that!

For toddlers they only have the ones with a pleat at the neckline

Another thing I just thought of it I would sometimes but the 2 or 3 packs of fruit of the loom undershirts at Walmart. They are exactly the same as T-shirts

Walmart also has plain t-shirts in their craft area- they sell iron on stuff above them.

have u checked the creative Disboards section? There are some great designers on there, all you have to do is post in as much detail as you can what you are looking for and they will help you out!

Michael's carries a big colourful selection of the Beefy T's. Some of the best prices I've found for quality T's. We tend to use them for team and family events.

Came here to post this. The Jerzees brand t's at Michael's are great. We've got some that have been washed hundreds of times and they're still in great shape. Plus they're routinely on sale for around $4 each.

I bought our shirts from Michaels. They are on sale this week - 2 for $7.
I totally didn't think of getting shirts from Old Navy. The style at Michaels is o.k. for my husband and boys, but I would have preferred the fitted style.
Oh well, learn for next time.

Hi, I was at Old Navy yesterday and found plain t shirts for $5 each in the women's, girls and toddler boy sections. They are actually nice! The best I found in the summer though were the George brand plain white tees for just $4 each for kids.
