Making Ressie ?

1. Does MS confirms the room # once you have made a ressie?

2. If not, can you make separate "one" day ressies for the same type of room and then call MS to "link" them?

Room numbers are not assigned until you check in. If you reserve day by day until a trip period is complete, you can have the days all linked together once you are done reserving, which then gives you one reservation and one room of the type requested for the entire time.

MS will send a confirmation letter once the reservation is made. If you decide to call daily to make a ressie, let MS know on the first day, so they can link the dates under one reservation and send just one confirmation letter- otherwise you'll have a letter for each separate reservation.

Does calling day by day and then linking a reservation provide any benefit if you have to cancel on the arrival day? Would you just forfeit that day's points and be able to cancel the remaining days and put them into a holding account?

Once you link them all together, they will be considered one reservation and a cancellation on arrival day would cost all of the points.

If you leave them as separate ressies, you would have to check out each day by 11 and move into possibly another room at 4- so linking them together is certainly preferable, but that method would allow you to cancel on check-in day and only lose the one day's points.

If you think you'll need to cancel, better do it the day before arrival to have any ability to reuse the points....better yet, cancel 31 days before!
