I'm not understanding when you make reservations for the Oceaneers Club. I know that Flounders is for the kids under 3, it cost money and has limited slots so you have to book. Why do we have to book Oceaneers Club? Is there a chance it gets booked and my kids might not be able to go? I've never heard of anyone saying that but I'm wondering why they couldn't just see you are traveling with kids (they do ask you the ages) and already have them on a list???

You don't reserve it, you register for it. You provide the critical information about your child, indicate your password for picking up your child, they get their wrist band to wear that they check in and out with and you get your pager in case there are any problems.

Is that something that MUST be done immediately, or can we do that later in the cruise?

Thanks!

When you book your cruise, your kids are guaranteed a spot in the Oceaneer Club/Lab, no matter if you decide to put them in there or not.

You usually register for the kids on the first day but you can do it anytime during the cruise. I heard that you can register them now while you are waiting to board. We usually just register our little one in the Club on ship. You just go to the Club or the Lab on Deck 5 and register.

Make your Palo and Spa ressies first. Then go to the club/lab to register your kids. The only exception to this is if you need ressies in Flounder's Nursery. It books up fast and coordinating it with your other ressies can be tricky and you need to get there early.

Thanks! We don't need nursery ressies--just the regular club for ages 4 & 5. Our Palo ressies are definitely a higher priority!

When we sailed in early January, I noticed that they had CM's doing kids club registrations right in the DCL terminal. Not sure if this is a real time saver, but if you're waiting to board anyway, it couldn't hurt to get it out of the way. They had tables set up near the small store.

Absolutely go get reservations for anything else you want first. You can drop by the club later in the day to fill out the papers for your children. It is not a big deal at all....they know your kids are coming. Palo, Spa etc.....they don't know you are coming, so if you don't reserve quickly, you probably aren't!
