Making reservations for 8am will the bus be running?

I plan on booking breakfast reservations as early as they open. Will the resort bus be runing before 8am?

Absolutely. I had to take the bus from POR at 6:45 am last October because we had breakfast at Ohana's @7:30

Character Breakfasts buses start running to the Magic Kingdom as early as 630am (I have read others say as early as 6ooam). Buses to the other parks begin around 700am.

Double check with a transportation CM at your resort regarding times, but you shouldn't have any problems getting to an 8am reservation.

I was talking to a Disney's reservation agent today and asked this question about buses for an early breakfast reservation. She said the buses start running 1 hour before the parks open. She also said the restaurants would not be open before the parks are open.

Once I make the reservation online, I will call the dining line and again ask when we get to the resort.

You have been given the correct info on two different threads, but you seem to not want to believe them. I understand you asked someone working for Disney and expect the answer to be the right one. Unfortunately the CM gave you bad info. The busses do start running early for just this reason and yes some of the restaurants will be open before the park opens. We have Adr's every trip for before the park opens. Two examples are an 8:10am at Tusker House and an 8:05am at Crystal Palace when both parks opened at 9am.

Having always stayed at FW in the past I can confirm that buses run in time to make breakfast ADRs and that you do enter parks before rope drop at the main entrance.

I have had breakfast at Tusker house in AK, Crystal Palace in MK, and Hollywood & Vine in DHS and been inside the parks before they open.

Early diners are held at an interior rope which does give you a head start on reaching the major attractions before the main crowd.
