Can someone tell me if you can call on Sunday to make dining reservations? We want to book Cinderellas Royal Table for our trip and our 180 day to book falls on a Sunday.
thanks,

They are open on Sunday. If you are unsure, call the dining line and ask. I did this numerous times with questions and the CMs were always very helpful. Good luck!

Disney Dining opens at 7am eastern time every day of the year.

You could also call MS to make your dining reservations but since it's not open until 9am for CRT I would call Dining at 6:59am.

With the current situation with Disney Dining, will I call for my CM ressie on 180 days from my checki-in date or 180 days from my dining date? It is a difference of 5 days for me.

Don't be sorry, thats ok with me, i am glad you asked, i am wondering the same thing, when are you going to Disney?

Duh, sorry. I forgot about the current situations.

From the info on allears and what I was told was going to happen by a WDW Dining CM (others have reported this too), no one can book at 180 now. They're only taking reservations up to Jan. 25. Then Oct. 24, a new system will be in place and supposedly the 180 window will open up again.

Sorry....I know that's bad news short term for both of you.:surfweb:

I thought you can only make reservations 180 days out right now for certain places, Cinderella's Royal Table was one that was listed as being able to call 180 days for isn't it?

Here's the booking info as posted on wdwinfo.com:
NEW DINING RESERVATION SYSTEM IN THE WORKS

Disney will begin implementing a new reservation system that combines dining, recreation and tour bookings.

The conversion will start on July 21, 2008 and is expected to be functioning on October 24. While this is taking place, the latest dining reservation date which can be booked in advance is January 25, 2009. Once the new system is operating, it will revert to the 180 day Advance Dining Reservation window.

The exceptions to the shortened ADR booking window are Cinderella's Royal Table, Chef Mickey's and Victoria & Albert's.

You're absolutely right. CRT, V&A and Chef Mickey are still 180.

I think I need a nap!:scared1: Sorry again!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Maybe someone on the dining board will have experience with this since the recent change.

Will you let us know what you discover?

We were going to go the week of the 25th and actually decided to go the previous week instead, just so we could make all ADRs now. (That puts us there MLK week, which isn't ideal because of the increased crowds, although it isn't terrible for us.) I just called last week, and didn't have any trouble getting everything we wanted. We had to be a little flexible with times, but not much. We wanted (and got) CRT for lunch and Cali Grill and V & A for dinner, among others. I just didn't want to have to scramble with everyone else the second we were able to start booking for later next year.

That said, I know we go somewhat off times of the year, but I've never had trouble getting exactly the ADRs we want... I hear about how hard it is to get CRT, but we've gotten it the day and roughly the time we wanted every time. And I never call 180 days out; I've gotten it at 4 months with no trouble... I'm not trying to get breakfast - none of us are early risers, even at Disney, but lunch has been easy for us.

Mardi Gras 2/21-2/27

My CM ressies will be on 2/26, so it will be either making the ressies on 8/25 or on 8/30.

You wouldn't happen to teach at HLB? I am from Houma, my daughter goes to Ellender, we are also going Feb.20- Mar.1, 2009, but one of my daughter's refuses to go with us because she doesn't want to miss school...i wish the school board would see it as educational and it be an excused absence, someone told me it is excused in Lafourche Parish, she lives there and has her grand daughter living with her and she goes to Disney all the time.....i wish....lol
