Making Reservations and extra magic hours

Forgive me is this is a stupid question, but I will be making my reservations here soon and my friend said to make sure that I take into consideration extra magic hours. How do I find that out if my trip is not until late May/early June??? Also, say I am making a reservation for a breakfast in Magic Kingdom... is the reservation only then after the park opens or do they let people who have early reservations in for that???? Sorry folks, just a little confused. Help!!! If I need to take into consideration magic hours then I need to know when they are. If anyone could explain this process to me I would appreciate it.

What you can do is look at the previous year's EMH and guess by that.

It usually doesn't change that much year to year.

And if your adr is before the park opens you can get in early (as long as you have a ticket to the park). Usually about 15 mins early.
