I'm hammering out our daily itinerary and touring plans for our October 6th through 10th trip. I have a couple of questions...

On Tuesday October 7th, DL opens for Early Entry at 9am. We plan to get there by 8:20am. Will we be able to grab anything for breakfast at Blue Ribbon Bakery before we dash off to Fantasyland at 9am?

I know I've read about being able to obtain more than one FASTPASS at a time due to a disconnect in the system. I know that DL's and DCA's systems are separate so we can hop and get FP's concurrently, but which are the two rides disconnected from the system? At least I think it was two rides. :confused3

Thanks for your help!

Okay, I just read HydroGuy's tips again, and saw that Grizzly River Run and Roger Rabbit are the disconnected rides. Is that still the case, or have they fixed this glitch?

good question...about getting breakfast, and i'm sure someone who knows for sure will chime in...BUT i think blue ribbon bakery will be closed at that time and opening during regular park opening time (10am for that day). so i would say "no, you won't be able to get anything to eat"...but maybe someone else knows for sure. you can also call guest services to find out for sure...714-781-7290

as for the disconnected rides, i think they are still disconnected. if they fixed the glitch/put them back on the network, then i think hydroguy would have updated his tips :thumbsup2

I don't think they open the park before MM. So you'd best buy something the night before to eat that morning, or get there really very early and snag something along the way, or bring granola bars to tide you over. You won't want to make any stops before getting to FL, if you want to get on Peter Pan quickly. :)

Yep the parks are still separate, and yes RR and Grizzly are still separate, so you *can* hold a total of 4 FPs in one period of time, with the only time separation being how fast you can get from one ride to the other to the other park to a ride to the other!:upsidedow

We'll be there starting the 5th just look for a guy the a Disney Backpack (Well that narrows it down) A gal with a Disney Fanny Back (Ah now we're getting real specific) pushing a six year old in a double stroller (Extra souvenir space) with the Lime Green Mickey Heads attached there about...lol

Not sure about the questions I know Thurs. the 9th is one (Gee thanx helps alot) Anyways hope to see there..lol

I found this on the DIS I hope (wonder) if it is up to date:

That's good and early to get in line for FL! If you get in line at 8:20 you'll be in great shape and not too far back in the line, and maybe even first at your turnstile.

How about, once you get in line at the turnstile, one of you hangs out there with the kids while the other parent makes a run to La Brea Bakery? They are at the top of DTD and will be open. You can go in their service counter area and pick up some coffee and bakery items.

I believe the Blue Ribbon Bakery is open for Magic Morning. When we were there in May, several of the stores on Main Street were open, as was the Plaza Inn. I would probably call just to verify though. I wouldn't want to count on it being open and then get there an not be able to get a croissant!!!!
