Please don't hate me because I know Google could answer my question, but I'm at work and for some reason, the Target website locks my computer up here so I can't just go to their site and look this up.

I was approved for a Target Red Card Visa yesterday and bought a bunch of Disney gift cards to pay for my trip. I'd like to go ahead and pay that off ASAP because I don't like it hanging around out there. My question is, can I make payments on a Red Card at the Target customer service counter?

Thanks!

Yes, you can. Go to the returns line, that's where my target takes those payments.

Target does not take credit cards for payments on their credit card. You can make payments at the Guest Services Counter (as stated by Girli565) :) but you have to do it with your debit card or with cash.

I can't write them a check?

DH works for Target. He is at work today and I have him checking out whether you can pay for it with another credit card. He knows that he's paid with our bank card as a debit card, but he's not sure about using a credit card.

Will edit this when I hear more from him.

Thanks for asking your dh! I'd love to hear what he says. I did ask the CS lady when I paid my bill last time (about 2 weeks ago) and she told me cash or check. She didn't even give me the option of a debit card which I would rather use than writing a check.

yes i always do it that way! :)

also have paid it with my debit card but you can not pay with another cc only debit, cash, or check i have tried with a cc but it didn't work they said nope

Yes, of course you can write a check. :) Most people don't do it that way tho so I forgot. :) (I worked the front end at Target for years.......lol)

You can pay at GS via cash, check or debit card but not with another credit card. :) I hope that helps. :goodvibes

I have the target cc and a target debit card, which of course saves 5%. Do we get 5% of gift cards if we use our Target card?

I work at guest service at Target. You can pay your balance (just bring your temporary card and they can scan it) with cash, check, or a debit card. You cannot make a payment with a credit card or with a gift card.

Yes, you get the 5% for using your red card (credit or debit) on any non-Target gift card. I have been combining my employee discount and my red card discount to buy $300 worth of Disney gift cards for under $260.00. It is great!!!

DH did check and unfortunately you can't use a regular visa or mastercard to pay off the Target red card.

However, he did say that you can use a bank debit/credit card to pay it off.

Wow. I had no idea you could do that. I will be having to buy some Disney gift cards for our upcoming trip. 5 % is wonderful.

Oh and for every five prescriptions filled at the pharmacy, paid with your Target Red Card or debit card, you get a 5% coupon mailed to you for future purchases. It's only good for about 30 days. If it's not used it's gone. And you can only use it for one days worth of purchases.

We are waiting on the next one to come in the mail and then we are going to purchase our Disney Gift Cards.

Just another way to save a little extra money!!

Let me ask a question that probably should be obvious to me, but is not...WHY would you want to pay off one credit card with another credit card? Isn't that defeating the purpose of paying off the credit card? You pay off one debt making another debt bigger. Nothing really got paid off just a balance transfer to another card.
