Making Online Dining Reservations

I am trying to book dining reservations online and can't remember how to link my reservation. I have a DVC reservation but the system is not recognizing my confirmation number. I did it in the past but can't remember how to find the link that says "link my reservation". I'm trying to make reservations beyond my check in date. We can reserve 10 days past the 180 day window if staying at a Disney resort. Anyone have suggestions?

Select a restaurant you want to make an ADR for and look for the link 'I want to use my dining plan to book reservations'. Once you click that link, you can enter your room reservation number. Even though it says 'use my dining plan', you can use that link to associate you room reservation even if you are not using a dining plan.

I tried this and it still doesn't recognize my DVC confirmation number. There used to be a page to book dining online which had a link saying "link my reservation" but I can't find that page anymore.

That's the only place on the revised dining site that I've seen that asks for a room reservation number. Haven't tried it myself as we are too far out to book dining yet for our next stay.

Subscribing to this as tomorrow is my 180 days out and I will be trying exactly what the OP is attempting to do.

It may not be an issue with the online site

it took me a week of phone calls and trying and talking to dozens of people before my issue was taken care of.

I would try to book online and wouldn't be able to - and then when I put a space between the Di and F in our last name (DiF******) it would work. Other times I tried the space and it wouldn't work. It was sooo frustrating.

I really hope you get through and my problem (whatever it was) isn't what is going on with you too.

I will cross my fingers for you.

Is it at all possible that your reservation # has changed...many did during the upgrade. Check your current dvcmember activity for this upcoming trip to make sure it is the same # you are using.

Yes....everything worked!!!
I had no trouble linking my DVC reservation to the ADRs.

A couple of stressful moments:

1) When my dining ADR window opened, I tried right after midnight, and again at around 2am to make online ADRs, and kept being told, "You are outside of the 180 window". So I went to bed. When I tried again at 7am, I was allowed to make the ADRs.

2) The system thought I was DOUBLEBOOKING sometimes. We have 6 people in our party. For several of our dinners, we will be splitting up (our two graduating seniors are going to go off and have dinner by themselves). Whenever I booked two separate ADRs for the same night, the system kept telling me I had conflicting reservations & asked "Are you sure you want to do this?" or something similar to that.

That makes me worried....I don't want Disney to think I'm double-booking just so I can decide later where we want to eat. I was making one ADR for a party of 2, & the other for a party of 4.

But I'm done - Woo Hoo!

I believe the online system rolls to the next day around 6am.
