No cast of characters today.. If you are reading this post then it is very likely that you already read the first three parts.. if you havent.. then you should. Then youll know whats going on.

Day 3 Making OFFSITE hip.

Today we didnt start off so early. We were planning to see EPCOT and we have been there twice before, so we pretty much know how it works there. The day dawned beautifully and we ate cereal bars and juice and packed the Tapeworm a bag full of snacks and trooped out.

We grudgingly paid our $9 (When you charge a trillion dollars to enter the park, why charge another 9 to park?) and found a very decent parking spot. Again no tram needed. Really awesome. We missed the park opening, but it isnt that spectacular at EPCOT anyway.

Thing One's "chicken shute" rides were "Soarin" and "Test Track" today. Since the lines can get long at Test track we zipped right over there. The line was awesomely short and we rode.. Thing One was not very impressed, but she rode with eyes open. Thing Two screamed at the top of her lungs and LOVED it.

After riding that we went through Inoventions West. An area that we havent really explored before. Its a great area with science exhibits on inertia and and interactive computer games. We got to bowl with computerized balls and Steven hit home runs on a computerized batting cage. We even got to play a game of Disney "Tag" Steven won and the girls were in fits of giggles over him being called "goofy" over and over again.

We made our way around the park and rode favorites like Spaceship Earth and explored Invoventions East. We also explored The Living Seas and saw "Turtle Talk with Crush." That show is AWESOME. If you dont do anything else at EPCOT you HAVE to see it. The turtle from Finding Nemo is animated into the exhibit and is interactive with the audience. Be warned to get there early as this has become a really popular thing at EPCOT. We waited nearly an hour to see it. Thing One who really loves dolphins (LOVES them) was thrilled to get to see the dolphin feeding and playing with thier trainers.. they have a program for people to actually spend time with them and next time we are there Thing One will be old enough to do it. Its expensive, but I dont care what I have to do.. she WILL get to swim with dolphins.

After spending nearly 2 hours at Living Seas we walked on around to "The Land" and got fast passes to ride a newer ride at EPCOT "Soarin" Its like a supercharged IMAX of California. Since we had two hours till our time to ride, we rode the actual Land ride. Its all hydroponic vegetables and exhibits about how people live with the land.. They farm fish and aligators, and shrimp. Very green and eco freiendly .. some Disney propoganda if you ask me. But still entertaining. They are growing Mickey shaped pumpkins and cucumbers. NEATO.

After that ride we were all hungry and amazingly I was able to get a table at the Garden Grill. A resturant where they serve food that is grown there in the Land.. really tasty. Steak, catfish, veggies, chicken potato casserole. Not a budget choice, butthe resturaunt rotatoes and you stare out onto different parts of the Land ride.. really fun. Farmer Mickey, Chip and Dale and pluto also wander around. The kids also liked the desert where they got to decorate thier own cupcake. Steven and I had a sampler desert.. some of everything they have.. sooo good.

After eating, it was our appointed time to ride "Soarin'" This was a "chicken shute" ride for Thing One.. so she rode.. but looked very green around the gills. It can make you feel queezy a little. But Thing Two LOVED it. She squeeled and her eyes were HUGE.They add smells to the wind blowing in your face, so you smell the ocean, the pine trees in the forest and the orange groves. Made me craze some Orange juice.. wich amazingly (HAHA) they happen to sell right at the end of the ride exit.. hmmm tricky Disney folk. Thing Two wanted to ride again immediatly and since we were on vacation, She and I went through the line again. TO much fun.

After finally exiting the Land we walked on to Imagination and Figment. A really fun ride about imgagination. We saw "Honey I Shrunk the Audience" a neat 3D movie with the characters from the honey I shrunk the Kids movies.

Next we spent time at a soda store.. they have a whole store dedicated to Coca Cola. They have all the FREE drinks you want to sample while standing around the water trough.. err fountain. These fountains dispense versions of coca cola from around the world. The one from Japan is watermelon flavored and is SO good.. mmm that would be good over ice. Beware the one from Italy.. eww its called BEVERLY and it is GROSS.

By this time the sun was setting and we were ready to travel round the world and see the World Showcase. We began in Canada with watching "OffKilter" a canadian band that performs in kilts. Really very good. We also began our "dinner" with eating around the world

Here are some of the things we sampled

Canada- Maple candy.
France- Chocolate Crepes
England- Ale (for steven and I) and Tea for the kids
Morrocco- Lamb and chicken, tack bread, cous-cous, hummus, and tea
China- candy
Japan -POCKY and rice candy
America- Turkey legs (what else?)
Italy- Tirimisu
Mexico- Margaritas. ( mango. just a taste. and it was sooo good.. to bad I dont drink anymore)
Germany- Pretzels
Norway- Skol Bread (sweet and with almonds.. YUM)

By the time we tasted and wandered and tasted some more we were tired.. and ready to find a place for Illuminations. Illuminations is a fireworks show, with music and lazers, and it is sappy, and sweet, and we love it. We waited around, chatting with fellow spot waiters and got prime places for the show.

We munched popcorn and snuggled eachother and loved watching the show... after wich we wandered slowly out of the park with the throngs of people leaving. Managing not to loose one another.

When we returned to the hotel the babies were exhausted. Falling asleep even before we left Disney property. So there was no swimming that night! Only sweet sleep and rest.
