I am calling MS in 20 minutes to make a reservation for a Standard 2BR at Kidani for the second half of our spring break trip next year. We are driving and my parents (ages 62 and 58) are coming along.

Mom has some pulmonary issues and can get a little winded so I would like a room that has a minimal amount of walking. Are we destined to have a "longish" walk to our room if we ask for and get a "near the pool" request? I know that they have underground parking and I am wondering how far from the parking areas the pool rooms are located. (WOW, that's some bad grammar there:lmao:)

I have already booked 2 nights at Jambo and we are staying in standard studios there so I know that the walk will be reasonable. Any suggestions?

Asking near the pool may be fine but better may be to ask for "close to the lobby" and mention why you want that. Close to the lobby would mean you are close to what you need to walk to at the resort, including pool, restaurant, busses.

Thanks! That makes more sense. ( I work nights...my brain hasn't powered up yet:lmao:)

Since you will be doing walking wherever you are at WDW, maybe you should rent an ECV for your mother.
