Making it to AK by 8:00 AM

For our upcoming trip I made an 8:00 ADR at Tusker House. The park doesn't open until 9:00 this day.

We have always rented a car, but for this trip we are relying on the buses. Do the buses run this early? How early should we be at the bus stop?

We will be staying at Pop.

Buses run that early, but less frequently than when the parks are open. To be 100% safe, be at the bus stop by 7.

Actually, I would be out at the AK bus stop by 6:45. If you just miss a bus, you could wait for 20+ mins for the next one. And it's a longish ride to AK from POP. Then, you have to walk to the park entrance and then to Tusker House. Better safe than sorry...I hate worrying about being late for ADRs.

Oh, well, you didn't say part of your goal is to irritate your brother! Tell him 5:30 - then when the rest of you aren't ready (or even awake yet), send him out to the bus stop to hold your place in line!
