WOOO HOOO for 24 days to leave!!!!
Ryan liked Owens hidden Mickeys!!!!!

UPDATE HERE!

Tues., Nov. 27 ~ Day off / MVMCP Night!

So, this morning we actually have a ressie at Kona Café. I’ve seen enough food porn to know that the Tonga toast is to die for! And I want some! BUT! I am allergic to egg whites and I know it will upset my stomach!!! Is it worth it??? :confused3 AND! the ressie is for 9:30 and well, we may just want to sleep in and move slowly this morning! BUT! My mom may still be with us and it would be nice to take her out to breakfast at the Poly! Can you tell I am very undecided on whether or not to keep this ADR??? Should I? I COULD eat something else. I COULD make the ressie for later (this is the one that I could’ve picked any darn time I wanted!). Or we could just skip it altogether and eat at the condo again! I guess ya’ll will just have to read my TR when I get back to find out what we do!!!!

Things we MAY do today (notice the lack of MUST do’s… it’s our day “off” ;) ):

~Go to Downtown Disney and do any or all of the following:
1. Bibbity Bobbity Boutique ~ Miss Abby needs to get pertied up for MVMCP!
2. Let the boys make their own light sabers at the toy store (Tom says, “They already have light sabers!” :sad2: )
3. Go to Goofy’s Candy Shop cuz Uncle John said so!
4. Just shop til we drop!

~We could also play MINI-GOLF! (Some folks around here think it’s called putt-putt! )

*Tat posted some great pics of their trip to Winter Summerland on her TR! If you aren’t reading her TR, you should be. She’s a hoot (in case you hadn’t noticed that here yet!). And now’s a good time because she had surgery today and there’s not a lot of new posting going on there for a few days – lots of time to get caught up!*

~We could also go around and check out different resorts. I want my picture taken with that big ol’ Woody at ASMovies!!! Do you think I’d get in trouble if I sat in his lap?

~We could go see a movie!

~We could lie around and watch that great big flat screen TV!!! :rolleyes1

Then we will head to the MK around 4 o’clock and get our wristbands for the PARTAY!!! :yay: I’m so looking forward to this! Ya’ll know that already but I just cannot help but gush about it! I’ve got my hopes so high that I’m afraid that if it rains out or something I will be devastated!

Things we MUST do while at MVMCP:
1. Get the MVMCP pin!
2. See Santa! :santa:
3. Watch it snow on Main Street!
4. Watch the parade!
5. See Mickey’s ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas!
6. Drink as much cocoa and eat as many cookies as our bellies will allow!
7. Ride whatever we want to ride! (Yes, Monica, we might ride Pooh! :lmao: )

Really, I just want to take in all the holiday cheer and enjoy being there with my family. :cloud9: Which reminds me... I got our shirts today!! The owner guy wasn’t there today so I didn’t ask about them putting the transfers on… besides the directions say you have to wash the shirts first. So I brought them home and washed them and Tom helped me iron the transfer onto Abby's shirt and HERE IS A PICTURE!!!!!!

IMG_0530.jpg

I may add a design to the back… I have them all ready. I just didn’t buy a lot of transfers because I wanted to make sure they would turn out before I invested a lot of cash into my little projects.

Well, those are my hopes and dreams for this day. Up next… GASP! :scared1: We’re are leaving WDW and headed to Sea World!!! :fish:

Love the pre-TR! I'm giggling at Abby being excited over getting her own bed.

Hi there and :welcome: ! You read Tiggerbell's (Jaime) TR don't you? She cracks me up!

Abby is still very excited about getting her own bed and room too! Poor kid... spending much of her youth as odd-man out! For the record she does have her own bed in her own room at home!

Anyway... glad to have you here and even more glad to hear you're enjoying it. I sure am having a good time writing it!

Just popping in to see if anythng is new

:goodvibes

Ruh-ro! The natives are getting restless! :lmao:

I'm done with the class! :cool1: Now when I sub I will get paid more... I wish they could pay me in Disney dollars!!!

I am going to throw together our plans for Sea World in a minute and post them asap! :thumbsup2 Thanks for staying tuned! :goodvibes

FINALLY AN UPDATE HERE!

Wed., Nov. 28~ Sea World

I doubt we will get a very early start this morning… seeing as though we will be partying with Mickey the night before! We will eat breakfast at the condo.

As hard as it will be to get onto I-4 and go in the opposite direction of WDW, we will do it in order to see Shamu and his swimmy friends! We’ve not been to this Sea World so I am really looking forward to it. We all are, actually.

Now I am going to tell you a little story about a man named Jed… oh no, :sad2: that’s a different story. This story is about how I scored dirt cheap tickets to Sea World. :cool1: It is kind of controversial and I hope I don’t start any debates… those belong on the community board! Back in July, I think, I was perusing the Uni/SW board just to see what was up. I came across a thread titled “2 Tix to Sea World for $50”. What?!?! They are normally $53.95 each… and that’s IF you buy them online 7 days ahead and get the kid again deal. That comes to a grand total of $269.75 for our fam of five. Naturally, I check out the thread! The OP said they had gotten 2 tix for $50. That all you had to do was “donate” to the NRA (yes, I know) and for every $25 you donated they would give you a ticket to use at any Anheiser/Busch theme park. So I could get 5 tix for $125! That is a savings of $144.75! :woohoo: MAJOR! I called Tom and told him about it and he got online at work and ordered them pronto! You may have noticed he really likes to save cash! The deal went on for a few weeks and lots of folks took advantage of it and there was lots of posting on the thread for awhile about people ordering and when they got them in the mail and all that. I got mine very quickly :thumbsup2 and they have been tucked in my handy dandy Woohoo Disney folder. Anyway… there were a few people posting on the thread that they wouldn’t give money to the NRA under any circumstance… you know, for political reasons. I can appreciate that, I really can. But, I’m not going into that here… that could get us waaay off topic. So, I hope that didn’t ruffle anybody’s feathers (posters and lurkers alike, assuming I have any lurkers! :confused3 ). If I did, feel free to rant about it on the community board! (I can see it now… title of thread “Can you believe that lovebuzzandwoody supports the NRA just so she can go see Shamu!” :sad2: )

Moving right along… I have not planned out everything we will do at Sea World. I printed out a map with things on it I thought my fam would like to see and we are going to fly by the seat of our pants with it! I know we will watch the shows, that’s a given. Other than that…

Things we MUST DO at SW:
1. Shamu – DUH! I  Shamu!
2. Pacific Point Preserve – sea lions and harbor seals
3. Penguin Encounter – who doesn’t like penguins!
4. Manatee Rescue – aw, I love manatees!
5. Shark Encounter – Tom loves sharks… side note: Tom wanted to be a marine biologist but decided he wanted to make more money than that so he went to college intending to become a lawyer but ended up studying material planning and logistics! A small part of him has always regretted it.
6. Dolphin Cove – I guess you can feed them if you go at a certain time. A co-worker of Tom’s said to go right when the park opens. We’ll see.
7. Stingray Lagoon
8. Turtle Point
9. Dolphin Nursery – aw, BABY dolphins!
10. Clydesdale Hamlet

Things we MAY do:
1. Shamu’s Happy Harbor – it’s a playground. The boys would like it but Abby, not so much. We’ll do this if we think the boys need to run around. Abby and I could always hit a gift shop.
2. Any of the rides. Rides aren’t really what we’re going to SW for. But if the kids want to, we’ll do them.

Well, that sums up our day at Sea World. We thought about booking the Dine with Shamu but decided not to. We’ll probably hit a CS for lunch and I doubt we will still be there for dinner.

Up next… our return to Epcot and our last :sad1: day of vacation.

Cool! We have never been so I can't wait to see how this day turns out (and I hope to see pics !). Happy Friday !!!

Just wanted to let you know that you have a lurker! I have been here since the beginning and enjoying it! We leave on Tues  and will be going to the first MVMCP on the 12th!:goodvibes

I have soooo missed you! So good to have you back!

The kid was eating a hot dog (it was gone though) and he had onion rings, crinkle fries and waffle fries (I was using up what was left in several different Ore Ida bags in the freezer  ). In the dish he had strawberries!

Seriously, there's onion rings in there? God, I'm blind now!!!!

Yes, they are in the hidden mickey at the top of his plate with the ketchup! What did Dr. Scalpelhappy do to your vision?!?!?!

Great score on the Seaworld tickets!

If you get a chance, there is a show called Pets Ahoy! that is really great. It is a stage show that uses rescued cats and dogs that have been trained to do some amazing things. We really enjoyed this when we went to Seaworld. :dog: :cat:

Wow...you know me so well..:rotfl2:

So Mickey Crazedmom....What resort are you staying at? Care to share your adrs?? I love details....ask Lovebuzz and my other dis buds:rotfl2:

Great deal with Sea World.....:thumbsup2

I have only been there once.....about 20 years ago.....It was fun, what I can remember, which is not too much:rotfl:

Thank for satisfying the restless natives with an update:lmao:

I don't want to hijack the TR! But since you asked...We are staying at POR. We are taking my Mom so we will have 5. She could never afford to take us when we were kids and there is nothing more she would love than to see her grandkids at WDW! Not to mention she will be handy to have around.:thumbsup2 DS is tall enough for most rides, DD is not. Dmom doesn't like rides...so instant babysitter!;)

Last year we didn't do any ADRs because we were newbies and we didn't know how the kids would deal, but this year we are all about the DDP! Mostly character meals - Princess Dinner in Norway, Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace, Jojo at MGM. Also 50's Prime Time and Boatwright. We still have room for 1 more but had to leave room for the f&w samples!

We will be there 8 days  and we timed it to hit the end of F&W and the first night of MVMCP:santa: . Last year we were walking out of the park as MVMCP was starting and it was magical. Tickets were still available and we almost stayed but it was our last night. I hadn't packed, kids hadn't napped and ME was leaving at 6am. So we have waited all year for this party!

By the way love buzzandwoody - I am a Michigander. Lived here my whole life, about 20 minutes south of Detroit!

Thanks for the interest in our trip - I am currently at the point of exhaustion trying to finish laundry, packing and having my house spotless for our return!

Thanks for the details. I stayed at POR in 98 for my honeymoon, when it was caled Dixie Landings...Great resort.....If you have never stayed there before, make sure you stop in the club/bar to see Bob Jackson.....Piano guy...he is hilarious:rotfl2:

You have made great adrs!!! I love Chef Mickeys....That was my ds first character meal and he had a blast.....

I hear ya...I hate coming home to a messy house......bad enough you have to leave Disney.....don't need to add anything else to depress ya

I have never done MVMCP, but hope to in the future...

Thanks for sharing:goodvibes
