Making Good on a Very Merry Promise! COMPLETE!

Yeah, wouldn't want Tom to think you're all better yet!:thumbsup2
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

You ARE a chicken! Will bribery get you on coasters? It works with my hubby, but I don't think you want that.:rotfl:

Sorry, I'm in a good mood...I had a good week!;)

Yeah... as much as I like you that wouldn't work for me!

That's more like it! :thumbsup2

I almost hate to start the next part because it's our last day! :sad1: It should take a few installments though ~ we packed A LOT in!

~*~* Side note *~*~
I just tried to go to DisneyDad's thread and it is GONE! I am reading over on the CB that they eliminated all the big threads to speed up the boards. I saw that Monica had mentioned it earlier... did they announce it somewhere? :confused3 They do seem awfully zippy today, don't they? Still, I'm sad. :sad1:

I'm sad it'll be over soon!:sad2: I'll have to follow you around the boards. You may call it stalking. I like to call it admiring!

There was a thread about it. There are just hiding them for a couple days to see if it would help. All of the threads with 10,000 or more posts. They said that you're welcome to start a new thread and that they will bring them back. However, it seems to have helped A TON that they are gone.:confused3

Wow, I missed two updates this week! What are you trying to do to me??

Now, if you were the "commando" type, you wouldn't have to worry about wet undies. Oh, sorry, wrong forum.;)

Sea World looks like fun. But not like Disney. Yucko on the birds. That would freak me out, too. I did Sea World in Ohio when I was like 9 years old and that was enough for me. I was one of those crazy kids who had to sit in the "Splash Zone," too. What was wrong with me?? I guess I would like Sea World in Orlando better, though, since they have roller coasters. You didn't happen to do them, did you?

I rode Kraken which is a foot danglin, upside down a bunch, really fast, record breaking, steel coaster. Loved it! Skipped Atlantis which is the water ride. That's the only two there other than the flamingo paddle boats.

:rotfl2: You are sooo funny! I'll still be visiting your TR silly! You can't shake me that easily!

It really does seem to have helped! It is prime time right now and they are smokin fast! Usually about now I'd give up and say forget it!

I just wanted to let you know that I did read about your trip to sea world. I loved all the pictures. I haven't been there in years. I can't even remember the last time I was there. As a kid disney was all it was about. It looks like a ton of fun though. Especially the shows and such. :thumbsup2

Hi Carla! Good to see you!

I should be uploading pics to start on Epcot... but I don't wanna!!! I am finding it hard to relive the last day... it's like leaving WDW all over again! Is that normal??? (Now I worry about normalcy! )

Oh Love, anything new:goodvibes

Ummm... I did upload some pictures! And I discovered that I did not take any notes at all on our last day! :scared1: This could get very interesting! I'll just take Nebo's advice... when in doubt, make something up! I'm just kidding!!! Hopefully my pictures will help guide me through...

maybe I'll start tomorrow. :goodvibes

You should do you TR much slower, like me! :rotfl: It will last longer!!!

I met everyone through your preTR, I don't know where to go if you are done. You should just make up a trip!!:lmao:

:rotfl: you sound like me now. I even have all my photos from my last day already uploaded but I can't find the motivation to finally finish my TR. :sad2: I don't wanna relive my last day either. I think it's normal for us disney freaks...not sure about everyone else :rotfl:

UPDATE HERE!!!

Friday, Nov. 30 ~ Epcot!

It is sad but true… this was the last day of our vacation. :sad1: Since we had taken it fairly easy the day before at Epcot and had a pretty restful evening, we were raring to go! At least that is how I remember it. This picture tells me differently however. The time on it says 9:57 and the boys are still in their pajamas! I am convinced it is an hour off!

Anyway… here are the boys on the balcony watching the construction vehicles below.

We got to Epcot early enough to park close to the gates so we walked in. (See, it couldn’t have been after 10!) We were on two missions: to ride Test Track and Soarin before it got too busy. We headed straight to Test Track! We were in such a rush to get in line that I didn’t take any pictures! The posted wait was 20 minutes I think but the lined moved really quickly and I am sure we did not wait that long.

Finally we were in our car! Owen was absolutely giddy! Abby was complaining that she did not want to ride it. Too bad chickie! Tom sat up front with the boys and I sat in back with Stick in the Mud, Jr. She and I laughed through the whole thing! At least… that is how I remember it. She got off the ride and rolled her eyes and said something like it was stupid. I tried to call her on it but it was no use. :sad2:

As suspected, Tom and the boys loved it! As one of our cousins puts it, “They have the ‘transportation gene’!”

See Abby’s obvious contempt for her parents in this picture! Wait! “Look like you love each other!”

Lotsa pics in the cars! Enjoy!

The boys in the orange hummer (orange is Evan’s favorite color):

Abby’s turn ~ hey, that’s a genuine smile!

Hi Mom!

Hey that is the soapbox hummer from the commercial! Cool!

IMG_1043.jpg

We perused the gift shop for just a few minutes. We wanted to get over to Soarin quickly! We made a beeline over there and discovered The Land was very busy! Soarin had a wait time of 45 minutes. Nah… fast passes please! We had about an hour to kill, I think. We decided to ride Nemo again! Walked right on.

After that we still had some time before our FP time. I know! Anyone want to try some free soda? I got a resounding yes in return!

I was evil and did not give anyone a head’s up about the dreaded Beverly! :rolleyes1

Tom didn’t think it was “that bad”. :confused3

He is NO FUN! But the kids were! :thumbsup2

Abby’s reaction:

Then Evan and Owen:

HAHA! That was sooooo fun for me! :lmao:

Up next... Soarin! And could it be.... the dream team? :confused3

Haa Haa ! I love the look on Abby's face. That is priceless!

I am getting very excited about going to Epcot. I think the kids are really going to have fun. The boys must have had a blast in all the different cars. My DS is going to love that. I think he also has the 'transportation gene'. :lmao:

Great update! Love the Beverly pics! We didn't get over there this past trip :guilty:

Looking forward to the rest of the day... The Dream Team? Really? Can't wait to hear!

Sara

Gotta love those pre-teen years! I've already warned Samantha that once she turns 8 that is it - no more birthdays! ;) Abby sure looks happy in the convertable though!

Dream team - hmmmmmmmpopcorn::

I don't want your report to end! :sad1:

*Oh hey! I read and read and read your TR this morning... I'm up to page 20 now! :thumbsup2

No matter how much I tell them to stop it, they just keep on growing!

And I am gonna be straight with you... pre-teen years suck. :sad2: I tell Tom all the time that one of us might not make it through them ~ somedays I really feel like it's her or me! :headache:

But still... I love that girl to peices! So I suppose we will survive!

I am getting there slowly but surely. Why does something that is supposed to make you better make you sick at the same time?

I know I am going to have fun with the Beverlys ! mwa ha ha !

I am so not looking forward to the preteen years. What age exactly do daughters stop thinking their mothers are the greatest thing in the world? I am going to miss my little angel when she grows up :sad1:

Ya, you are going to have to make up another trip! I don't want it to end. Every time I read your report I find myself so anxious for the next installment.

hahaha to the Beverly, my family claims its not that bad either(liars), no need for a camera there!

Dream team! :hyper: :hyper:
