Making FP+ for friends...can I do it as same time as I make mine? (different MDE account)

ARG im so sorry if this is a stupid question! This will be our first time traveling with family/friends and Im only used to making plans for my own family!

We have an upcoming trip and 3 family members will be joining (staying at a different resort, coming in the middle of our 8 day trip). So I have my own MDE account with the other family members NAMES only on my friends and family list ( I added them to make ADRs). DSIL has her own MDE account with her hotel and tickets all linked.

QUestion is, can I make their fastpasses the same time as I am ours without linking the account? If I do link accounts, what will she have access to in my MDE?

You can make FPs for anyone who is on your friends and family list in MDE, assuming they are eligible for FPs (which means they have a park ticket and are within the 60-day window for on-site ressies). You will have to add them as friends and family (not just names for ADRs) to do this.

Since they are joining you in the middle of your trip, they will have a later 60-day window opening (I think).

if you link accounts they can see shared plans or all plans depending on which box you check. they can't change your adrs only person who made them can do that. I'm not sure on fp+ but she maybe able to change those

Actually, you should be able to include them in your FP+ plans as soon as your booking window opens even if their window doesn't open until later. Just make sure they are showing correctly in your family and friends list and have the appropriate number of tickets linked to their accounts.
