I am about to make our dinning reservations for our honeymoon. When you guys made your reservations did you mention you will be there for your honeymoon? I've read that at Cinderella's Royal table you get free Champaign flutes as a gift, did they know you got married there by wearing your ears, wearing your buttons or mentioning it on your reservation?

Also, we already had breakfast at Cinderellas royal table, we were thinking about doing lunch or dinner this time, which one is better?

Thanks

I made sure they noted our honeymoon on every ADR we made. Sometimes we got confetti on the table or a free dessert, and sometimes nobody noticed. It's kinda luck of the draw. Supposedly you now have to buy the Champagne flutes at Cinderella's Royal Table (they have two prices - one to buy them and one just to use them while you're there!:scared1: ), however, I still hear stories about couples getting them for free, so who knows... :confused3

We did dinner at CRT instead of breakfast/lunch b/c we're not into characters and we wanted to see the fireworks from inside the castle. I think if you go at dinner you also have a better chance of getting that prime table right under the middle window, which is where we sat -- and had a great fireworks view! :thumbsup2

Carrie's right, it's definitely the luck of the draw.

We were fortunate at CRT, they gave us the flutes at no cost and gave us additional pictures from our package that came with dinner. If you make sure there is a note on all your reservations then you just leave it up to fate because it really depends on what you might get during your honeymoon. If you don't go expecting anything in particular it will make things even more magical when you're given that extra pixie dust. :goodvibes

Yep, I've made our ADR's for Chef Mickey's already and I mentioned that we will be there for our wedding/honeymoon....I'll put it on the other ones as soon as I can call....

On our last trip which was my birthday, I did the same and I think we got a card and extra dessert at almost every meal! But like "Lurky" says, it is the luck of the draw and the best thing is not to expect anything and then be blown away by the magic when it happens :goodvibes

We'll be wearing our ears after the wedding and the buttons! (Because we're dorky like that) But hopefully we'll get some free stuff as well :lmao:

:)

I also put a note as well that it is going to be our honeymoon.

Yesterday I was told about a sweetheart dinner that Disney offers now. Apparently its new.

You can do it at Artists Point in the Wilderness Lodge, Narcosses, Cali Grill and some other place that I can't remember. :rotfl:

Its $150.00 for two. You get an appetizer, your meal, a bottle of sparkling wine, and a one dessert to share and you get complimentary champagne flutes.

So when I call to make my reservations do you just say its your honeymoon or tell them to note it on your reservation??

Thanks :)

when I told them I will be on our honeymoon they said on their own that they are going to note it on the reservation.

Just a heads up you can only make reservations for Chef Mickeys, Victoria and Alberts, and CRT. The system is being updated the Restaurants board has more info.
