Making Dinner Reservations

We had a strange conversation with a CM on the phone for Dinner reservations. We have been calling to get a reservation for Fantasmic package. We wanted a weekday. We called twice and were told there was nothing available. This time my DW says as she's asking that we've been trying to get a reservation by calling regularly as they recommended.

The CM initially indicated that there was nothing available but then suddently said "So you've called about this before?". Then magically there was a 3:55 PM ressie available for the fantasmic package.

It wasn't there a minute ago but then appeared because we had been calling?

Did she feel bad or do they stash a few for later?

Right, so if you call and there is nothing, you hang up, call right back and tell them you've called before? Sounds like it's worth a try You can't lose anything if you don't have it to begin with.
