Hi. Has anyone made them before? DD wants to go to Michaels tomorrow and buy the papers. Now she wants the top embossed paper printed on. Can we just take it to a company and they will print on embossed paper? I really am scared to do them, but I do scrapbook and we NEED to do them cheap.

I made them for my sister. Bought Bazzill paper in 2 shades, and another lighter shade of another brand of cardstock (one without texture) - printed on that one. Used 2 sizes of flower punches to make Gerbera daisies. I think it cost about $1.50 CDN for each invitation. It was very tedious work, but in the end they looked great. DSis said that they would have cost about $6/piece to buy something that looked like that. Definitely worth your time. I did it assembly-line style to put them together once we had the "prototype" made.

I just did invitations for my BIL. I printed everything on vellium paper and placed it on top of 2 different pieces of card stock.
They where time consuming but well worth it.
S :)

My wedding invitations were printed on Bazzil CS so it has some texture and they turned out wonderfully. I used the large sheets of Martha Stewart papers to make the outside of the card.
