For those of you who have recently made their Cindy's ressies- can you tell me if it is still necessary to get up at the crack of dawn and have the phone prompts memorized in order to get through quickly to secure the time you want? If things have slowed down enough and we'll be able to get any time we want, then I won't worry about it. We'll be there at the end of May, which is by no means a slow time, but I'm curious if I need to use the same approach I used the last time (which did indeed involve getting up at the crack of dawn :sunny:)

Thanks! princess:

I have eaten there twice and have ADR's for a third time in January. I have never had a problem getting an ADR.

it is easier now that it is at 180 days and they are doing breakfast, lunch and dinner (unlike the old days!!)....you do know that it is 180 days from the first day of your reservation not 180 days from the date of the ADR??
I would call tonight for a practice run - the promts are verbal now - not "push 1 if..."

want to have breakfast an hour or so before the park opens, then yes it's best to call 180 days out. If you just want to eat in the castle any meal and are flexible on time and days, it's not as big an issue.

We're heading there in June and want the first lunch seating so I"ll be up 6:00 AM local time to make the ADR.

We just booked CRT a couple of weeks ago when we booked our 7/4 package and I got my first choice of time/day. We were under the 180 day mark when I called. I was going for lunch, which may be easier to get, I don't know.

But you can still use "1" or "2" to answer the questions. It's actually faster because you can interrupt the question before it's finished if you know the order beforehand.

Just called last week for a dinner at CRT for the last week of April I called midafternoon, no wait for a CM, and got our first choice of day and time. It's our first time to CRT so I was worried too after reading about it but it was very easy! :cool1:

My only thought is-- how I would feel if I didn't get up early and didn't get the reservation or time I wanted....I'd probably not risk it and call at the crack of dawn...but that's just me:thumbsup2

Good Luck

FYI, its it is 180 days from the first day of your reservation, IF you are staying on site, and for up to 10 days into the reservation.

Also, it at least used to be true that not all tables were available at the 180+10 window, and more tables are released right at the 180 day mark. When I made a CRT ADR for last December, I tried to make it with the rest of my ressies, but was told that there were no tables available - but to call back at 180 days from the desired date. And sure enough, I was able to get the ressie with no issue.

Thanks for the advice everyone! I got an 8:25 ressie on May 30th! princess:

I got CRT reservations for 9:15am with less than 90 days in advance. Granted it's January, but still. UG said to synchronize with the atomic clock and have it on speed dial. Whatever. Glad you didn't have any problems.

I got up at 5am today (7am eastern time) which was painful. I did not have the phone prompts memorized, I just went through the system as it asked me questions. I had no wait getting a live person and managed to have a polite, not rushed conversation with the CM and got a CRT dinner reservation for the day I wanted, June 3rd. I was off the phone by 5:11am.
