Making ADRs without a ressie???

We are traveling to the World Feb. 4-10. My 180 day mark is August 8. If 2008 package prices are not yet out, will I still be able to make ADRs without a room reservation?

I just got off the phone making my ADR's for 1/6-1/11 since my 180 mark was today. After the 1/6 ADR, the CM asked me for my ressie #. She said she couldn't go past the 180 days w/out it. Also, I was told that the package rates should be out by mid August. That's when I'll change from room only to package.

You can make your ADRs 180 days out without a reservation, however you won't be able to take advantage of the 180 + 10 day that resort guests can use. No big deal, you would just have to call every morning .

Wow, I had forgotten about that rule. I guess only DVC members can take advantage of the 180+10 right now since we made our room ressies for 2008 a while ago. Booking 11 months in advance does have it's advantages. However, I would like to add a room only on to my January 27th reservation so will be waiting for an AP rate to come out hopefully later this summer. I'll be making my ADRs on July 31th for my January trip and at least can use the 180+10, even though no one knows yet what the ddp will be in 2008.

I am a DVC owner and I still had to give my confirmation when I was making my ADR's at 180+10 for ADR's. The 180th day was fine it was the 181st day on.

Yep! If you don't have a ressie #, you can only make ADR's for 180 days on each date. So you would have to call every day or wait until your last ADR would be 180 days out and book all together. It just depends on which you prefer.

When I reached my 180 day mark for my December trip(waiting for AP rate to book) I called at 180 day mark for my last day, and got everything I wanted. only Le Cellier had limited seating and I called at 179 for that one, and the best thing I just called and canceled it.
