Tomorrow morning is my 180 days out... this will be the third year in a row that we head to WDW to January, so we have a pretty good idea of what we like (and don't like!).

Here are the plans as of right now...

Breakfasts:
CRT
Chef Mickey's
Princess Storybook
Mary Poppins/Alice @ GF (maybe)

Lunches:
Kona (arrival day)
Usually just grab something light in the parks or at our hotel

Dinner:
CA Grill (maybe 2x-- we LOVE it there)
Narcoosees
Coral Reef
Plaza Restaurant (usually on a Spectromagic Night)

We might add Le Cellier, because we have cancelled our rezzies there for the past two years. We've also tried V & A, Jiko, the Luau, and the Ohana Best Friends Breakfast.

Where else should we look? Anywhere new we should try? We never go to DHS, maybe somewhere there?

Thanks!!!

Well, we are not big on breakfast so we can get to the parks earlier unless it is a character meal like you planned. We like Ohana's for breakfast and would go again. We have been to GF's Poppins' breakfast. It was very good - food and service... going again because I love the Mad Hatter and DS loves the Mary Poppins movie.

We also love Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet... so we wouldn't miss Crystal Palace. Id' scrap the Plaza or Kona for that.

We really liked CA grill too and are going again next trip! Narcoosees too. Trying Coral Reef for 1st time.

I don't get the Le Cellier hype, never been and don't plan on it. Looks boring. In Epcot, we really liked Restaurant Marrakesh - fun music and belly dancing, good food. But, Garden Grill gets good reviews for the characters. We are going there 1st time next trip too.

Agree with OP about going to Crystal Palace, although Plaza was quaint & really good, CP is really fun & has decent food whatever meal you're there for B-L-D. Plus you get to see Pooh & friends

If you've canceled Le Cellier twice, sounds like you need to try it & get it over with  Why not try for lunch? The earliest one you can get then the place won't have time to be running late for the day. If not there, others post they like the Yachtmens Club for steak - I have not personally been. Or Chefs De France is always a pleasant experience for an Epcot WS restaurant.

DHS unless you want to get a fantasmic dining package I wouldn't bother with dining there. If so, you could try Brown Derby. For the atmosphere, the Sci Fi is fun & the milkshakes are yummy - about the only thing we order there though is a burger, it doesn't get great reviews.

For your AK day, we like Tusker House & it is similiar to BOMA's at AKL if you want to try some Africian cuisine. OR there's JIKO's at AKL or Yak & Yeti at AK park - have not tried either of these but have read many good reviews.

Good luck booking your ADR's - you're right on time to get your first picks :thumbsup2

If it were me, I would consider dropping Chef Mickey's for breakfast and substituting for Crystal Palace or Tusker House. My family didn't love the loudness of Chef Mickey's. 1900 Fare Park was okay, but not a favorite either.

For dinner, I would recommend droppping Coral Reef and adding the Garden Grill.

As for DHS, I would say go, but don't eat there. The restaurants are nothing to write home about for the most part. However, Fantasmic is the best show available, so I would definitely visit the park. If you daughter is into Playhouse Disney, there is a breakfast there as well with characters. The food was good, my son was just too old for the characters.

Tuskar House is one of the most popular breakfast in Disney, it's great. There is the traditional foods, then some not so traditional. I'm not a big corned beef fan, but they had some there that was fantastic, not the typical canned junk. They have a unique juice there that was really yummy, can't remember what was in it, but yum.

I didn't like Coral Reef at all, there is so much in Epcot that why risk going to a place you might not like.

Unless you're staying at The Poly or you just want to visit I don't think I would travel there just for lunch at Kona, maybe for the Luau or Ohauna for breakfast but not Kona. The burgers, onion rings, and milkshakes at Sci-Fi are awesome, I would go there for lunch.

Have a great trip and whatever you decide I hope you get what you want and like what you get.

Thanks everyone... I ended up going with the following...

Sat (arrival day)
Lunch @ Kona (we are staying at Poly)
Dinner @ CA Grill

Sun
Breakfast @ Chef Mickey's (my DD loves it there bc the donuts are "safe" for her-- she has a food allergy)
Dinner @ Brown Derby then Fantasmic (we've never seen this show!)

Mon
Breakfast @ Tusker House (made but not sure we'll use it)
Dinner @ Plaza (but might consider switching to Crystal Palace)

Tues
Breakfast @ CRT
Dinner @ Le Cellier

Wed
Dinner @ Narcoosee's

Thurs
Breakfast @ Akerhaus

Fri
Breakfast @ 1900 Park Fare
Dinner @ Ca Grill (yes, twice in one trip-- we LOVE it there!)

Of course, I could switch quite a few things in the next 6 months or so!!!!
