My 90 day mark is Tuesday. Normally we go at a less crowded time of the year so getting on hold right away isn't so crucial but it will be this time.

I believe the # to call is 407-wdw-dine, right?
Once I get thru, what do I press to get on hold ASAP?

Thanks!

Looking for this info too. How do you get the prompt to get to the "new improved system" ?

For the record....I cannot believe the hold times for the new system. That is INSANE!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, I don't know if there is one. You used to be prompted to push a certain number for each option, but now it's all by voice. For example, instead of pushing 1 for English, you have to actually say "English" for it to register. If someone else knows a quicker way, please let us all know.

After you tell it to go to English you can answer 'No' to every question before the question is finished being asked. They just ask if you are booking Victoria & Alberts, booking beyond the end of May, are in the Orlando area now, have you been to Disney before, blah, blah blah.

Also, you can call the day before to practice and then just disconnect before an agent picks up. ;-)

You don't have to do that. I just made my dining reservation this morning and didn't say one single thing. The questions are yes/no. "1" is for yes, "2" is for no. If I can remember the questions, the first one is for English so press "1" for yes (or "2" for no). Then I think it asks if you are in the Orlando area or if you need reservations in the next seven days, press 1 or 2 for yes and no. Then I think the next one is if you want Victoria and Albert's so "2" for no (or "1" for yes). Those two questions could be reversed. When it gets to the "if you've been here five times" or whatever, I just kept pressing "1" for yes because that applied to me for all the questions.

So you can press the numbers if you can remember "1" for yes, "2" for no. And you can press the numbers as soon as the question starts being asked.

Tomorrow is my 90 day mark too! I've been waiting for this for so long! I hadn't thought of practicing! I think I will try it!

OMG I should "practice" too. My 90 days is this weekend. I will have to wait until hubby goes to work or he'll know for sure that I have flipped my lid!

That is so helpful-- thank you! I'll practice it tonight and hope for the best tomorrow. Wouldn't you know that it's my week to drive the carpool for school and my DH is out of town, so I need to be finished by 6:50am CST. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

I was pretty nervous about my first time booking too but it's was too easy. I called right at 7am EST both times and got through no problem. I called last week to book CP and it only took 2 minutes and after booking it, I went "That's it?"
Good luck and have a great trip!:)

My 90 days were up yesterday. I called at 6 am our time (7 Disneys) and was on hold for 20 min. A reservationist came on the line and said her file did not go out to May 26 (arriving on May 23) so she transferred me to the advanced reservation department. After another hour on hold I got disconnected. I called right back and this time I got the choice right off if I needed advanced reservations by pressing 1. After a 2 hour wait I got thru. Got all the reservations I needed for 4 meals (9 people) and even got the times I wanted. So I am happy. But ooh getting up so early on a Sunday morning was the pits.

The Grandma of all Grandmas. Just ask my aaaa team.

Good luck to you all...I called in the middle of the afternoon today for one reservation for 5/29. That's where the big hold up is -- they apparently still have only a limited number of CMs able to access the new system (for dates after 5/25) Usually in the middle of the afternoon during Mo-Fr it's easy to get through to reservations...not today. 30 minute wait.
