We are DVC members arriving 180 days from today. I am trying to make our ADRs and the online system will only allow me to make the one reservation 180 days from today. I thought we were allowed to make them for 10 days if staying onsite. I type in my reservation number but it keeps saying it cannot link it to any dining plan. :confused3 Are we no longer allowed to do this?

There is a well known, much discussed bug in the system that is not recognizing reservations numbers. IT is well aware of it, but it is not yet fixed. Give the Dining number a call and you will be able to make your + 10 on the phone

I just did it for all my days. You have to confirm your vacation on the dining webpage. Once you go to the next day it will tell you that your over 180 days but then it says you can confirm your vaction by click here. You need your conformation number for your vacation reservation. Then it will unlock the system for you. Also i just did it for 7.

That is what I did. Several times. I guess the system just doesn't like me today. LoL

Hopefully: I think I'll give it one more try tomorrow then make the call. Darn thing is so frustrating. I didn't have one bit of trouble booking last trip's ADRs that way. Thank you both for your help. :)

Why don't you just call to make the ADRs? It would be faster than waiting for the system to recognize you. Plus, while you wait, other people will be taking up spots at your desired restaurants.

Okay, another question since you were successful. If I don't want an ADR the first night we check in, can I still use the online 180+10 on day 180 from the beginning of our reservation? Or do I need to call? I want ADRs for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th days of our reservations; the first two nights we're going to eat in the villa/do CS meals since our celebrations are at the end of the trip. Or should I make a dummy ADR the first night and just cancel it later to get it the ADR process started?

Yes, you can do it even if you aren't eating the first night. I was able to make a reservation for my kids to do Pirates League 180 days from check in even thought the reservation was for the 4th day of our trip.:thumbsup2

DisneyFreaks - it's a DVC reservation issue only, AFAIK - which is why others generally aren't having issues here on this board. There is a big thread about it on the DVC boards. But at this time, calling is the only way to use 180+10 for a DVC reservation.

I didn't know this. Didn't have a problem booking online last year. Thanks for the heads up Vicki C. :thumbsup2

Thanks to everyone for your great suggestions and help.

DVC 180 + 10 is now fixed and it worked for me this morning very well online. Good luck!
