Making ADR Thread - hold times, IT vents, and general whine!

How has it been the last couple of days??? Wednesday is my call date for 6/9 and I was just wondering if it still long hold times and transfers etc..

Wait times have dropped considerably when I have called the last couple of nights. Like only 10 minutes or so.

Yes, I got them this morning.
I was not oh so happy with the times I got and I called right at 7:00 est on my 90th day, but I did get the restaurants.
I expressed surprise that there were already times taken up and the cm said they were experiencing heavier than usual booking.

Sure seems like there were already ressies in the system. We didn't hit on half the times we asked for.

Strangely, the Grand Gathering line had a person routing the calls this morning, now we get the prompt.

And the wait time was near zero just now.

I'm on hold right now, did not get the prompt. Someone in DD picked up after just 8 minutes, I thought I had hit the jackpot, but then he said..Let me get you to those people who can help you with that..so now I'm on hold again. I think that this is one survey at the end of the call that I will wait for

I just finished making my ADR's for June 5-15 about 20 minutes ago. I was on hold for ten minutes or so at first, then when asked what dates I needed, then placed on hold again for nearly an hour.

All in all it took about an hour and a half. Not terribly bad, I have to say that I was thrilled to be done in less than two hours after reading this thread.

We got everything we wanted, all within a half hour of our requested times. The only thing that we didn't get was Cali Grill at 9PM, for some reason she gave us 7:30PM? I didn't balk as I wanted to get through my list as quick as possible.

On our list was Narcoosee's, Chefs de France, The Plaza, Brown Derby, Cali Grill, Crystal Palace, Kona, Sci Fi...and that's all I can remember right now.

My total time ended up being 1 hour exactly from start to finish. I did have a Wonderful CM. I got all of the ADRs that I wanted, a couple were not the exact time, one was much earlier, but I think that the restaurant closes earlier than I thought, and the other was 1/2 hour earlier, so not too bad. I would call back if it were me on that Cali Grill and see if maybe you could get the time that you want in a week or two if you really want the later times. We have some of the same restaurants. Plaza, LeCellier,Cali Grill/7:10,Tutto,Brown Derby,Mama's,Liberty Tree, and The Flying Fish.

called today right at 6:00 cst and got right through. No second person. All ADR's were made in 20 min. We are staying from June 5 - 12. No problems to report (guess I got lucky!)

For those of you that don't understand how you can call on your 90 days prior and not get what you want...............If you check in on the 5th of June and someone else checks in on the 4th of June the other guests get to make their reservations one day prior to you so that would make it not avail for those checking in on the 5th....does that make sense???

Right, I knew that. I was just surprised that even on my 7th day (so only 3 days worth of people booking ahead of me) I still had to major compromise on the times I wanted.

I slept in this Morning so I didn't call till 7:12am. There was no prompt so I am on hold I even had my Husband try twice from his Cell and there still was not one. So I am on hold and exhuasted
