Called promptly at 7:00 this morning (6am here) on my cell and my husband was calling on his as well. It didn't take us long to get through to someone but as soon as they heard we were needing June ressies they had to transfer us. Hubby hung up after 50 minutes, but I'm still hanging in there. 61 minutes so far. I have a meeting at my son's school at 8:30 so I'd better not still be on hold!

How were hold times before? I've never made an ADR in my life so I don't know how it used to be.

Okay I finally got through at 8:11 so I was on hold for 71 minutes. Got everything I wanted. It was a close call for Kona Cafe though. I guess word has spread of how good it is!

Total call time 1 hour 55 minutes..got all my ressies except for Fantasmic on June 2nd. He said they might be loaded into the system tonight at 5pm so I will call back then.

Well, calling back again cause my friend wants to do dinner when he comes down. Don't think they "get it" yet. So far on hold 40 MORE min.

I was on hold 2 hours & 30 minutes yesterday. I just sat back with my knitting and watched it snow while I waited. I got a little ticked, but it was well worth it when I got everything I wanted. 2 Le Cellier reservations, Ohana, Teppan Edo, Kona, Yak & Yeti, Chef Mickey's.

WHEW!!!!! Finally off the phone and was able to get everything we wanted, including the Fantasmic Dining Package for June 2nd at Mama Melrose.

I was on hold for 1hr 15 mins and had 7 days booked and got disconnected and had to call back to finish up the last 3 days..luckily I only held for about 30 mins the second time!!!! I ALWAYS get disconnected!!!!!!! SOOOOOO FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!

Glad thats over!!!!!!!

WHAT is with these long wait times?! I've NEVER waited more than 5 minutes to talk to someone. Then yesterday I had a break in my day and decided to call, but was on hold for 15 minutes before I had to hang up to go somewhere. I'll call back in a bit. Crazy, crazy.

What time are you guys calling that the hold times are so HORRIBLE?! I need to make my ADR's next week and have never waited more than 15 minutes on hold in the past.

It's not the time that is the issue, it's the new dining system for reservations past May 25th.

The CMs are trying to figure out this new system and are really struggling with it right now. Every ADR request is taking longer than they used to so that is why the wait times are so long.

I would definitely block off at least a couple of hours for the process before you call. You may get lucky and get through sooner but I wouldn't take a chance on that. Other than calling right away at 7 AM, I don't know if there is a good time to call.

I called at 6:15 Central yesterday. I recommend setting aside a couple of hours...get a book to read, watch a movie, take up a new hobby...I made half of a baby sweater yesterday! My CM was amazing, though, and was totally apologetic about my wait time. She told me that the system still has some kinks, and that's the reason for the wait.
