Making ADR Thread - hold times, IT vents, and general whine!

This waiting on hold is killing me!! 70 minutes is just crazy but we want Le Cellier so I guess I'll have to keep waiting - ugh! SOMEONE ANSWER THE PHONE!!!

Hey, I'm in Memphis. Yes, we are snowed in too. We got about 4-5 inches! It's great.

I'm on hold too. Got up at 6:55 eastern, on hold for 30 min, and then I disconnected the phone (that's what i get for using my husbands Iphone! fancy/schmancy)...called right back and still on hold...that's 84 minutes for me and the Fantasmic Packages might not even be available today (for the 1st week of June!) Ha!

I didn't get the "are you making ressies after May 26th" prompt this morning, which means, I will probably be transferred.

It is snowing here in the deep south and churchs are closing so no where to go. You know us in Alabama don't get snow often so it just become a day to stay in. All I want is 1 adr for CP, DD will turn 5 on 5/31 and she wants to eat with Pooh. This is our first trip to WDW and I didn't know that there is so much to getting 1 adr. We are on the QSDP the rest of trip so this is it unless t-rex takes them and the cm's i've talked to said no the don't it is walk up only. When will the hold ever end?????

I have quite a few ressies to make, but one is CP on 5/31 as well. Which meal are you trying to get? We want dinner!

I have been on hold this morning trying to make our ressies for an hour and half now!

I called at exactly 7am EST (6am my time)... answered immediately by a CM that couldn't help me... transferred... hold time was about 25ish minutes

Pick up my a VERY helpful CM.... Made 16 ADRs... all with 15 minutes or so of my requested time...

The only thing I didn't get was a F! Package but she assured me 3 times they are just not released yet and they are very aware of it....

So I guess I am doing this tomorrow as well! Blah! lol

Total Time on the phone 1h20m30s according to my cell phone

Why can't they play the Disney Love Song CD? Aladdin, Cindy, all the sweet songs? It would be alittle more relaxing and might prevent my blood from boiling regarding this hold time!!!


Oh, well, everyone is still sleeping in this house, there's nothing else to do but make WDW ressies!

Isn't there a prompt in the intial greeting that tells you to push a certain # if you wish to make ressies past 5/26/09? I thought I read that somewhere?

Yep.. if that is all you are holding for... the CM checked both June 2 and June 4... and nothing was pulling up..

While she was talking to me she got an email saying that they are aware they are still not available in system and they are working on it.

(This was for Mama Melrose for sure... I didn't verify the other restaurants... but I got the impression it was for all of them)

The CM was pretty sure when they did release them it would be a first thing in the morning thing... and well today is not that morning

There was last week when I called to ask a question... but this morning there wasn't... at least when I got through...

I didn't get that prompt either. I held for a few minutes, got a CM, told her May 30 and she had to transfer me to another line. An hour and a half later, I am still holding...
