My boyfriend and I are planning to go to Disneyland in October for his first trip ever. Until me, he's pretty much hated Disney parks because he got in a fight with Goofy when he was a teenager at WDW. Fast forward 15 years and he's actually excited about going with me. Then again, he knows there are 2 things that come with me in my life - Disney and my mom, so he knows he's gotta like both!

We're actually planning a trip during Christmas with my mom, since it's our favorite time of the year there, and I'm planning to surprise them with the Fantasmic! dessert package, so that's out as a surprise for this time. But I still want to make his first trip special in the hopes that he'll fall in love with it at least a little, and to help make up for that overzealous Goofy from so long ago. The Blue Bayou is a must since it's so pretty and kind of romantic, but other than that, I can't think of anything that would really stand out.

Does anyone have any ideas?

what dates are you going? and do you think hed like areils charcter meals..lol all those princess hugging him (wink)

If all goes well, we'll be there October 12-14.

I should say character meals are best left out, since he was at one during his little tiff with Goofy. I'd hate to bring back bad memories, even if the characters would be far more appealing to his eye. lol

I can think of so many great surprises to do at Disney World, but nothing at Disneyland, and I know DL so much better. It's driving me crazy!!

what about that new tour where in dca you ride those new driving things (sagwere or something) it is in a topic down the page a bit..its intresting.

Oh, that would be a neat idea! I thought they were only at WDW. I'm glad they finally made it out here. Thanks!
