I've been sitting here trying to make a plan for our May trip so I can plan what PS when, etc. I come up with something then am like - well, if it's late hours this night I'd want to be in the park instead of eating so that won't work, etc etc etc. Ugh. Does everyone else just make the PS and figure they'll just deal with it? I would like to take advantage of the evening extra Magic hours because when we usually go in the Fall late hours are rare and I just love the parks at night.

I wish they'd just release the stinking May hours so I can make a plan. :confused3

We like to eat, so we usually plan our parks around our eating, so in that case, it isn't as much of a problem not to have the park hours. Just decide where you want to eat and when and go from there!

I had the same problem trying to plan our April trip. I took a chance and went over the EMH for the previous two months and found there was some pattern. So I used the pattern to plan my days and I was pleasantly surprised that the EMH stayed the same for April. I did have to change 2 PS due to no fireworks b/c of Grad Night, but other than that it pretty much worked out. Hang in there...it won't be long!

We're in exactly the same situation! :) I'm planning as many of our PS's as I can, knowing that I may need to call back & change some of them around. So far, I've only made 2 PS's for our May trip. We're also trying to attend most of the EMH's. I think if you're worried about not getting a particular PS, go ahead and make a PS for it now, and you can always change it if you need to. Good luck! :)

We're going end of April/May. Had to make all my PSs just hoping that the stated EMH will be the same during our trip. So far so good for the April portion of the trip...but it really steamed me. Disney use to do PS 60days out, and that was fine as it coincided w/ their release of the park hours. but now that they make PS 90days out....they need to release their schedules 90days out too. imho.

This has been a pain in my side, too! We are going in June, so I can make PS ressies in March, but the hours aren't released until April. My problem is that I am spending so much time and effort deciding on which ressies to make based on the current best-guesses for park hours and EMH that I don't want to have to turn around when the "real" times are released and redo it all over again. ARGH!!!!! :crazy2:

Hello, My name is Amanda and I am stressed out trying to plan a vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth.

Yup, same here. I'm just going to suck it up and wait for hours to be released. I'll be disapointed if I can't get every PS I want, but I'll survive. I really want to be able to take advantage of evening EMH, and I like eating atplaces that are convenient to the park we're in that day. Luckily, there's plenty of restaurants we want to eat at, so we should do ok.

Try not to stress out too much. I've only ever made 2 PS before reaching WDW itself. Cindy's and HDR b/c of the popularity of the two. Every other PS is made while we are there onsite. We are felxible and there are so many good choices you will not be disapointed. I understand the need for planning. I'm doing more of that this time around too but remember this is supposed to be FUN!

I'm having the same problem- and I'm stressing out it in ADVANCE because our trip is also in June and we can't even make the PS's until March (except already have a tour reservation and Backyard BBQ ps done).

I think I'm just going to plan/book PS's PROBABLY like a LOT of other people are going to- booking it like later in the morning/earlier in the evening so as to not mess up their plans to participate in early/late EMH. That's probaby going to make those PS's harder to get...

We're making 14 PSs for August - will be in WDW 14nights

Im trying to avoid EMH since I know there is no way that DS13 will get up in time

I am going to Disney World with my family from May 8-15. My vacation plans are almost complete, including PS's and touring plans. I have planned trips for people recently, to help them avoid lines and crowds. I would be more than happy to help you plan your trip. The park hours not being released is not that big of a problem. If anyone would like my help, e-mail me at shays64@hotmail.com.
