I see instructions on the web about making rfid blocking wallets, but I thought I could just turn an old bag inside out,use tinfoil and ducttape to make a bag. Any ideas?

It may disrupt transmissions, but not passive scans. Copper mesh works, but it is price. You could also build a faraday cage with something like this: http://www.lessemf.com/fabric.html also a bit pricey, but worth it. - BlackestRose
