Making a Reservation

My home resort is Saratoga Springs(if I get through ROFR). I would like to plan a trip the last week in May 2018. Is that considered a busy week? From everyones experince will I have a problem booking another resort at that time. I would love to book the grand villa at BLT magic view.

No, it's not a busy week. I would still book your home resort at 11 months then switch at 7. That said, a BLT GV may not be in the cards. Per @drusba at https://www.disboards.com/threads/grand-villa-availability-at-all-resorts.3564854/:

BLT: both lake view and theme park view GVs are usually gone 4 to 7 days a week by 7 months out during the high demand season. During the low to moderate demand season, they are similar to the Jambo GVs, with one or the other, or both, being open about 60% of the time and both being gone for the other times.

In reference to Jambo, "During the low to moderate demand season, they are open about 60% of the time with holiday times, June, parts of May and Aug, and race weekends often having days missing."

If you want to stay at BLT you should have purchased there. Most times at 7 months nothing is available, other than a few days here or there.

May is a time that you generally can book elsewhere fairly easily. Being restricted to a certain week adds a factor that may make it less likely but you just never know. If you are open to 2BR's also or a 2BR and a 1BR that would help as there are relatively few GV's at BLT and they seem to have a decent popularity.
