Making a new MDE account

My MDE account is kind of a mess right now. There have been people that have come and gone with us, added friends/family etc. I’ve called before and they have said they would get it straight but it just hasn’t happened and I’ve not pushed it a lot more. I’ve got a new email address and thought about just setting up a new MDE account and only adding my immediate family back. My question is can I do that and still keep our Magic Bands active? I don’t want to buy new ones, we have several and our latest ones was from a recent trip so I know the batteries are good.

We ran into major problems with mine and my husbands magic band last trip; thought it got resolved and it happened again on our current trip. Long story short, one of us had to make a new MDE (I elected husband!). It was easy and you just add the number on the back of your bands.
